This episode starts out with Invader Slacks reporting in, and the tallest telling them that it's pobing day, he's fit in well with the large nostril people of Boodie Nen, and he is going to put on a puppet show to depict how he is going to destroy the planet. Slacks is a little questionable about it, and they tell him that if he fails inspection, he gets a pummeling, and he says that he shall try his hardest. Red says that Zim's next on the list, and asked if they should skip him because they don't like him and he's not even a real invader, when Zim reports in. He says that he is ready for his inspection, and that he has prepared a human experiment for them, and he tells him to hurry up. He has Dib suspended in a time stasis field, and when Dib talks, he makes his voice get faster and slower, but the stasis field exploded, and they told him that he looked busy exploding, and moved on to Slacks' puppet show.
At his lab, Zim notices that Dib is gone, and he must have vaporized, and says that he needs to get it cleaned up before the tallest call back again, and heads GIR on the cleanup and repairs. GIR is cleaning and throwing the debris in the tubes, when Dib is in the debris, still in the time stasis, and he goes down the tube, which leads next door. Zim sees a green glowing thing, picks it up, and drops it suddenly, telling GIR to dispose of it. GIR picks it up and screams that it burns, and throws it into another tube, where it comes back down and burns a whole through the tube. He tells GIR to quit playing around, sucks it in the tube, and it burns another hole in the tube. Zim has the computer analyze it, which is a result of the explosion of the stasis time field. The computer says that it is exploding within itself, and it will grow to an inevitable size, and Zim wants a dramatization, and it grows huge, possibly destroying Earth. Zim says they'll cover it with garbage, and carries the explosion the Voot Cruiser launch pad. Zim tells GIR to go to the Voot Cruiser and cross to the tracter beam, while he holds the explosion, and then grab it with the beam. GIR ignores this and pulls roadkill from his head, saying that he smells real bad, and starts dancing on Zim, making him drop the explosion, causing a hole through the house, and landing outside. Zim comes out dressed like a fat lady, hiding the tracter beam under himself. Zim tells GIR that they need to be quick, they havn't got much time, and they make it to the city cess pool.
Dib is trying to find help, when he sees a police officer across the street. He is still stuck in the time stasis thing, and so when he crosses, he walks slowly, causing a massive car pile-up, and having a truck from Obese have the mascot on top of the truck, which is a fat ball of a women, fall off and roll around to city park, making a man in a wheel-chair fall off of a cliff.
Zim makes it to the Cess Pool, but before he can get into the enterance, he sees the chiwawa and freaks out, trips, and has the explosion roll around downtown, where it stops in the middle of the street and grows bigger.
Zim makes it home and says that he's doomed, but then gets the idea that if he can bring the time field back up to regular speed around the time of the explosion, it would fix everything, and it would explode just like normal and be gone forever. He just needs another fragment of the time field as a trigger, and he says that it's too bad Dib was destroyed, but GIR said that he wasn't, and they head off to find him.
Dib makes it almost near the police officer, but Zim comes to him and takes him away. In the base, Zim has accelerated Dib's time field to cancel out the field around the explosion. Zim uses GIR to slingshot Dib into the explosion, causing it to explode at normal speed.
The tallest have just interviewed invader Larb, when Purple hoped that they have got everyone, but Red said that there was still Zim, but he thought he stopped being alive, and called to check up on him, but he was being exploded. Zim tried to answer, but he couldn't. Dib walked up to Zim and called him a jerk, and then fainted.
