This episode starts out with Zim checking the progress of each of the invaders. In the middle of one of Zim's spying, the vision starts to fade out. Zim calls GIR to the observatory. He asks GIR what he has done to the telescope, and he said nothing. Zim and GIR are both amazed that something is broken and it is not GIR's fault. Zim tells the computer to display the scope image on the screen, but it is all staticy, like a tv that doesn't get a certain channel. Zim said he knows that image from somewhere, and suddenly, the observatory starts to cave in. Zim said he will need a more powerful telescope to confirm his suspsions. GIR grabs Zim by the face and says, "Let's make biscuits."
Outside, the sky looks like someone made it an images. GIR and Zim are on the biggest hill. GIR points a telescope out, and Zim concludes that it looks powerful enough, but it belongs to Dib. GIR says that he looks nice, and Zim is about to tell him that he wants to destroy the humans, not make friends with them, but there is an earthquake.
Zim makes it Dib's house, scared. He goes up to the door with a fake smile, and turns around to look at GIR, who is giving him a thumbs up. Zim rings the doorbell, and Dib barley opens it, when Zim opens it completly, knocking Dib to the floor. Zim tells him that he needs to use his telescope, that his world is in grave danger. Dib tells him that he's trying to destroy it, but Zim laughs it off saying it's something completly different, and demands to use his telescope. Dib asks what kind of alien need the help of the people that he decides to conquer, and Zim asked if he's seen the sky. Dib says that he's not falling for whatever it is he's up to, and pokes Zim in the eye twice with the Professor Membrane lamp he's holding for protection, making Zim run outside. Outside, GIR is drinking or eating or whatever you do with mud. Zim tells him that the only option is to take the voot cruiser out to investigate.
They get in and Zim tells GIR that he was glad that he updated the G-Force compensaters on the cruiser because it was acting a little funny, and it flies off at full speed towards space. The cruiser is suddenly stopped by a wall, and Zim tells GIR that Earth has been stolen by the Planet Jackers. He tells GIR that they sneak up on unsuspecting planets and enclose them in a holo-net bubble, and the inside of the sphere is one big television screen producing a sky so no one knows what happened. Zim tells GIR that the earthquake was the earth's pole changing direction. GIR tells Zim to tell him a story about giant pigs. He ignores this and tells him that their planet orbits a dying son, and they throw planets into it like firewood to keep it burning. He tells GIR that their mission is going to be a complete failure. He gets mad and flies off, finding a hole that says planet jackers use only.
In space, Zim sees a space cruiser carrying the earth. Zim comes up to them and asks them what they are doing, and he says that they are going to throw that planet into the sun, and asked if he had a problem with that. Zim tells them that they must have forgotten about the Irken-Planet Jacker treaty, that all planets marked for Irken conquest are supposed to be left where they are. The driver of the cruiser tell him that the planet wasn't marked, and Zim tells them that there must be some kind of mistake. The driver tells him that he goes and finds a differenent planet, and they'll take that one. Zim tells him that he was there first, and the other jacker says that he's getting tired of him, and blows him away with something on their cruiser. Zim tells GIR to fly the cruiser, that he has a plan.
GIR drops Zim off on top of where the cabin was, and he starts banging on the top of it. The other jacker, the one not driving, says that he'll take care of it, and he goes out there and tells Zim that it is really annoying. The jacker tells him that there is only one way of undoing the covering, but he'll have to get through him, and starts swinging a key around his finger. Zim tries to grab the key, but the guy snaps apart Zim's spider legs, sending Zim out into space. Zim tells GIR to catch him, and GIR comes to where Zim is, making him hit the windsheild. Zim tells GIR to let him in, and he does. Zim sends melting pods around the shell, and tells GIR to let him know when it is done, he's going to distract the jackers so they won't notice.
Zim uses his jet pack to fly back onto the cabin of the cruiser, and the guys notice him again. The guy comes out again, and they start to fight, they other guy knocking Zim around like a rag doll. The pods are done, and GIR notifies him. Zim, meanwhile, is getting his head stepped on. Zim tells him that he thinks he's through with him, and has GIR pick him up, where they fly off. Zim watches from a distance as the conector that held the earth on to the cruiser smashed into the earth. Zim tells GIR that the earth is safe, and to go and destroy it.
The planet jackers think that they have finished the job off, cause all they can see out of their side mirrors is half of the shell.
