The episode continues six months later with GIR still singing the doom song and Zim looking about as stressed out and annoyed as anyone possibly would be. A thing starts to beep on the control panel, saying that a planet is ahead... Earth. Zim tells GIR that they're finally there, and GIR holds up a finger to silence him so he can finish the song. He ends with "The End" and askes what is in front of them. He says it's Earth. He tells GIR that they need to find a place to start a base, and GIR giggles. Zim tells him to focus, and tells him that this is where is advance information gathering skills come in handy. GIR answers mockingly with "Yes, my master." He tells him that he need to find out with the "Earthanoids" consider "normal." Then he says that based on his findings, they make disquises and a home.
They fly around for a while, catching glimpses of little stuff, lawn gnomes and pink flamingo stands, and stops between two houses, saying that's where they will build. Zim gets out and tell GIR to get out, and asks what he observed. He said that he saw a squirel, and started mocking it. Zim tells him that they need to make a disquise, and GIR says that he wants to be a mongoose. Zim tells GIR to be quiet. Zim looks through his computer for disquises. A picture of Jhonen comes and he says too ugly, another one of Steve Ressel, and he says too stinky. Another one comes which will be his disquise forever, and he says perfect. A capsule closes around Zim, and he asked why it hurt. He somes out looking exactly like his picture.
GIR goes crazy asking where Zim went, not recognizing Zim in costume, and Zim tells him to quiet down, asking if he wants to wake up the whole planet. GIR said that he did. Zim says that GIR should be a dog, and GIR asks if he could be a mongoose dog. Zim ignores this and goes through a lot of dogs, coming to one that will eventually be his disquise forever. Git comes out looking like a dog, and Zim screams out, Ingenius! He starts to draw a home on his pad thingy. It turns into a drill, and he puts it into the ground. The house sprouts up and grabs the houses on either side of his to plant into the ground.
People come out to see what all the noise is about and Zim grabs ahold of GIRs collkar and drags him. Opens the door and robot parents come to welcome him home. He says that step one went smoothly. They walk into the kitchen and GIR steps on the trash can to open it for Zim. This is a tunnel that leads to the underground part of his house, which is his layer or whatever. Zim is talking to himself, saying how wise the tallest were, and that the glasses on his eyes were scratchy.
He goes to his computer to learn how to learn about the "spinning ball of filthy..." He sees the school.
The next day, Ms. Bitters introduces Zim to the class, and says that if he has anything to say, that he better say it now because she doesn't wanna hear another sound from him. He tells them that he is a perfectly normal human wormbaby, and that they have nothing to fear from him, and that to not pay attention to him and they'll get along just fine. All the while he is saying this, Dib is gawking at Zim, pointing at him. Ms. Bitters tells Zim to sit down.
She starts off by saying that the lecture today is about outer space, and how it will eventually implode on itself. Zim raises his hand and asks "in the case of a full scale alien invasion, how well prepared does she think earth's defenses will be?" She looks at him, and goes on with her lecture, saying that the universe is doomed.
Dib is still looking at Zim, and asks if he is the only one who sees the alien in the class. Everyone starts to look around. Dib points at Zim. He says that it is not a kid, but an alien, and that he was there to conquer earth. He was about to press the self-destruct button on his arm, but this girl tells him that he is always saying stuff like that, and that he was crazy. He asked about his horrible green head, and Zim said that it was a skin condition. Dib comes back that he's got no ears, and asks about his skin condition, and told him very sadly that it was part of his skin condition. This kid asked Dib, "that just because he is different, you can call him an alien?", and another kid asked if old kid was an alien too, and pointed at an old guy. He draws a picture of humans and Zim, and asked if they looked any different, and this kid said alls he talks about is aliens, ghosts, and seeing big foot in his garage. Dib said it was using the belt sander. Zim said, "Yeahm he's always saying stuff, I remember that one time..." Dib told everyone that he just got there, and not to let him trick them. This one kid said, "yeah, he does look kind of wierd" and another one said, "yeah, and he is sitting." Dib said that that was actual proof that everything that he said was right, and that he could finally prove that he was... and Zim threw his voice to make it sound like Dib was talking and said, "crazy."
Meanwhile, Ms. Bitters is still in the background, saying doomed repeatedly, and tells them to go home.
Zim walks out, and Dib follows right behind him, telling him that he will get everyone to see the truth, and he said that no one will believe him. Dib says they will believe him if he brings them to him without his disquise, and Dib pulls out his "alien hand cuffs" and says that it was guaranteed to render all aliens unconcious, and Zim asks how he knew if they worked if he's never caught an alien before. Dib starts chasing Zim around with the cuffs, and Zim gets away, but a dog attacks him after he is gone. Dib goes back to where Zim was, but Dib gets attacked by the dog, and Zim calls for GIR to come and get him.
Gir is flying, but he leaves a trail of smoke, so Dib can easily follow him. They make it home, but Dib is right behind them. They get inside, but Dib is still locked out. He tells him that he can't hide forever, and if he can, then he'll wait forever. Meanwhile the lawn gnomes eyes turn into cannons, and they aim straight for Dibs alien cuffs. They get fired at and disappear, and Dib says he's gonna go home and prepare some more. Zim says that he felt good about how the day went.
Meanwhile, and the tallest's ship, there is an incoming message from Earth. Invader Zim reports to the tallests, and says that the mission was going well. The tallests can't believe what is happening, and ask if he is alive, and he said "yes, I'm alive, very alive, and filled with goo, vison goo," and that he wouldn't be surprised if he took care of the humans before the Armada even got there. He signed off with GIR falling on his head, and Zim yelling about his spine. The tallests are still amazed.
