This episode starts out with an episode of Mysterious Mysteries (MM for short) about a girl going to a thing called The Blotch, who knows something, but they don't know what he knows because it's really hard to make out. The host was watching this episode from the control room, when a boss or someone walked in and told him he was fired, but she said she was just kidding, but he will be unless he livens up the show. The host's assistant comes in with submissions for the next show, and he thought that there had to be something good in there, but there wasn't, and he said it was hopless. The assistant said there was always the stuff the crazy Dib kid kept sending in, and pointed to a door with a sign on it that said "The Dib Archives". The host said no, not after what happened last time, and then opened the file submissions and saw Pigfoot. He thought about it again, dropped the submissions, and walked into the door, where there was stacks and boxes and bags full of submissions. He picked up a CD and thought it had to be better than Pigfoot, and put it in to watch it. It didn't show what it was, but he told the assistant he thinks they got something.
They were filming the show and he said that it was harder hitting and faster paced, and said they got some intreaging video that might prove they aren't alone in the universe, and showed a film of Zim and GIR acting stupid near a tree. Dib told them that he finally has proof that he's an alien and Gaz is the witness. The host said, "Thanks to a horribly large headed boy named Dib, we have a new piece of the puzzle that is the search for alien life," and he set out to investigate. He said that this is the kind of place that kids can play without fear, and it's the kind of place where they don't even have to lock the door, and he opend their door, and Gaz screamed and threw her popcorn at him. Dib came to him and said that he was finally here and he knew it. The host gave a little history on Dib, saying that he was interested in the paranormal ever since he was a little kid, and when a green kid came to Skool claiming he was a kid with a skin condition, he was prepared.
The host was interviewing Dib about what had happened that night, and he told him that he was picking up on an alien distress signal, so he went out with Gaz, kind of his sidekick, and they showed a poor dramtization of the video. Dib said that Zim tried to wrestle the tape away, but Dib was too much for him. The host asked if he was prepared to back up the claim of aliens, and Dib said the video speaks for itself. The host said that this young man, and Zim came walking up, denies his accusation. The host asked if he was an alien, and Zim told him no, and the host asked what happened. He said that he was out playing like any human larvea, when he came looking for trouble. The poor reinactment Dib told Zim to give him his lunch money, but Zim said that he needs the money for nutrients, and the fake Dib told him to give him his money or he'll tell everyone he's an alien, but fake Zim said to leave him alone and he just wants to play. Then Dib pulled out a camera and renacted the last part of the video, and threw down the camera and threw fake Zim on the ground and threw fake GIR off the tree. Dib said he was lying, and asked about the glowing thing. The host said they asked an expert, and Professor Membrane said that it was a probably a weather balloon, or possibly swamp gas. Zim said that Dib was crazy, and to ask anyone in his class, and they interview various kids around Skool, and they all said he was crazy. The host asked Dib if he was crazy, and he said that that's what everyone says about visionaries, and asked what Zim was doing, who was playing with some kind of walkie talkie, and Dib asked if he was calling one of his space friends. Zim said no, that it was his medication, and forcefully ate it. Dib told the host to ask his sister what she believed.
They followed Gaz down the street, but she threw some flowers at the camera. The host told her that he wanted to ask some questions about her brother, and she was brought on the show. The host asked if she believed that Dib got proof of intelligent extratarestreal life, and she said that not intelligent, that her stupid brother dragged her out to look for stupid Zim, and that he didn't make that part up. The reenactment showed fake Dib dragging fake Gaz to where fake Zim and fake GIR were, and they were all acting stupid except for Gaz, and then fake Dib reenacted the last part of the video, and Gaz kicked Dib making him drop the camera. The host came back on and said that he would like the thank them for watching what will most certainly be the final episode of MM, but the host's asstant whispered something into his ear, and he said that they have a surprise witness who was there and seems to know the truth. GIR walked in with his head blurred, and Dib said that he worked for the alien. He said that Dib is not nice to his master and that he seen it, and Dib is bad, and the host asked about what happened that night. GIR said that he was a fat lady hiding in the bushes, and the host asked what happened next, and GIR said a giant squirrel showed up. The host asked if he meant Dib showed up, and GIR said that the squirell showed up first, and then Dib showed up, and then the squirell ate Dib's greasy head, and then the squirell flew away, and after that he went back to his home planet to fight all the bad guys. The host asked what that has to do with anything, and GIR said that him and the squirell were friends. The host said that Dib was crazy, GIR was definitly crazy, he felt bad for the ugly green kid, but there was chance he was crazy, but not an alien, and maybe he was crazy too, and the host started going crazy.
The host and the boss are watching it, and the boss said that she thought that was the best work he's done, and crazy gets good ratings.
