This episode starts out with an episode of Mysterious Mysteries, talking about whats haunting a floating fork, that is floating by a string. They show scenes from the next episode, which is Chickenfoot. Dib notices that it looks like a guy in Chicky-Licky suite, and uses his binoculars and sees it's zipper. Chickenfoot is closed-up on the camera, and Dib says that it is a guy in a Chicky-Licky suite, and asked what kind of idiots they think he is. Professor Membrane comes in on his floating TV, giving some World Leaders a tour of their home. A man comes up to Dib and asks Professor Membrane who the big headed boy was, and Professor Membrane tells them that's his son, the future of Membrane Empires. Dib tells them that he's a paranormal investigator, and Professor Membrane tells them that he's a bit insane at the moment. Dib told him that Paranormal Investigation is a ligitmate feild of study. Mysterious Mysteries came back on, and he said that they asked a ligitimate paranormal investigator what he had to say about Chickenfoot, and he said that Chickenfoot is not a real chicken, he's a space chicken from a planet where pig demons rule. Dib mutes it because he's a little embarassed about that episode, and one of the men asked if his son believed in those things, and started laughing. Professor Membrane told Dib that they'll discuss it later, and Dib told him that he didn't believe in Chickenfoot. Dib said that the Chickenfoot story must be made true.
Dib went to Chickey-Lickey, where a man and a waitor were arguing about the customer's slaw. The waitress asked Dib what kind of chicken he wanted, and he told her that he was looking for information on Chickenfoot. The whole store got silent, and the waitress told him not to say that name around there, he's the demon beast, and they've lost three chicken cookers since he came around. Dib asked if Chickenfoot ate them, but she told him that they got better jobs, but she hates that chicken beast, and told him to get out before he gets a better job too. The manager came and calmed her down, and he told Dib that he should try a Mr. Chickey meal, and asked if he was thirsty for chicken. Dib told him not to try and throw him off track, and the manager told him that the meal comes with a dirty chicken toy, and the head comes off and can be used as a little crappling hook. Dib told him that was a weird thing for a toy to do, and the manager told him that the dirty chicken has a secret, and waved him back.
He took him to the freezer, and Dib asked him what the secret of Chickenfoot was. The manager told him to ask the dirty chicken, and held him out and squeezed him. Dib asked the dirty chicken what the secret was, and the man said that Chickenfoot was a mass of chicken evil, and he has come back to avenge the soul of all his chicken brothers. Dib told him that it was just a guy in a chicken suite, and asked if he had any hard facts, and demanded facts. The man hid behind a bucket of lard, and he told him that they say Chickenfoot lives in an apartment building on 3rd street.
Dib looked at the list of the residents, and read them off, but there was no Chickenfoot. A man in a jacket walked past Dib, feathers falling from him. Dib ran after him, but lost him when he tripped over a rat. He looked around and saw a door with feathers in front of it, and slammed the door open, telling Chickenfoot to give up, he's got him. The man asked if he wanted Chickenfoot, and then opened up his jacket, telling him that he was Turkey Neck. He told him that Chickenfoot was two doors down, and Dib asked why he was running from him. Turkey Neck told him that he thought he was one of those kids after his lucky neck meats, they're always after his neck meats, and Dib back out slowly.
Dib walked into Chickenfoot's apartment, where there was chickens startled by Dib. Dibb finally saw him, and he told Dib to go away, and not to look at him. Dib told him that he just wanted to talk, and he told him not to look at his horrible face. Dib picked up a peice of chicken and asked what happened to him, and Chickenfoot told him that it was a sad revolting tale. He said that he was a boy once, like him, and he worked in a chicken place once, like him, and Dib told him that he didn't work at a chicken place, and he yelled for him not to look at him. Chickenfoot told him his name was Chewy Rodrequez, and he lived, laughed, and loved. But one fateful day, his destiny collided with a defective microwave oven of doom. It showed Chickenfoot putting some chicken in the microwave, and started it. The waitress women and the manager were arguing about potatoes, when she fell backwards with dishes in water, and the water from the dishes landed on the microwave, and exploded. Chickenfoot told him that he survived, but the accident caused an unholy fusion of man and chicken, and now he must survive on the fringes of society, neither man nor chicken. Dib told him that the explosion probably just stuck the zipper, and started walking toward him, but Chickenfoot told him that he speaks madness, and everyday that goes by he grows more grotesque, and Dib told him that it was because he doesn't bathe. Chickenfoot told him that he couldn't leave the apartment anymore, and the chicken meal toys were his only friends. He told Dib that his only regret is that he didn't get the dirty chicken toy. Dib pulled it out and asked if he meant that, and Chickenfoot told him to give it to him and dived for it. Dib told him that he would, only if he promised to go to the hospital with him.
At the hospital, Dib is on the phone, telling whoever he is talking to, to send a newscrew right away, he's got the real Chickenfoot story. The docter tells him that he is in a costume, and Dib told him to take it off before he makes a total mockery of paranormal studies. Chickenfoot said that it was impossible, and the docter told him that they could just unzip it and started to, but he threw her off of him, telling her no. He told them that they taunt him, he was a freak, he will always be a freak, and he ran out. In the hallway, Chickenfoot trips over a bed and a man in a wheelchair, dropping his dirty chicken, and started running again. Dib told him that he wasn't a freak, he was just stupid, and chased him out of the hospital. Dib tried to use the grapple to unzip the zipper, but the zipper was stuck, and Chickenfoot ran in the hospital again, carrying Dib along with him. The dirty chicken toy got caught in a door, and finally unzipped the zipper, where a news crew was waiting, and Chewy jumped out of the costume. Chewy was on the ground, saying that the curse was lifted, and Dib told him that it was just a costume. A reporter got mad and asked if Chickenfoot was a fraud all along, and Dib told him that it proves that paranormal investigation is not just a bunch of crazys going around believing anything, they also disprove the frauds. The reporter said that he bets that means that bigfoot is a fraud too, and another one said UFOs, and the other guy said Hobos, and Dib told him those are real. On Mysterious Mysteries, the host was telling them that Chickenfoot has been exposed as a fake, hauling in the quesition of all other monster sightings. Dib said it didn't turn out like he planned but at least it was finally over.
At the Krazy Taco, a guy in a taco suite goes into the kitchen and puts something into the microwave, where it explodes.
