This episode starts
out with kids saying what they want to be... normal jobs, like a vet or a
doctor. It's Zim's turn and says he wants to be lord of all humans. Dib says
he, "wants to be a professional paranormal investigator so that he can..."
and goes to the last kid saying he wants to be an astronaut. Ms. Bitters tells
the kid that when she was young she wanted to be an astronaut, but her ship
imploded in the vacuum of space. She says that dreams turn out imploded. She
also says that there is going to some questions, and the answers will determine
what their career field will be. They then will be partnered with an adult
who works in that field. The students have to write what each blot looks like.
While Zim's taking the test, he scratches at a rash on his neck. Dib see's
Zim doing this and get suspicious. The time is up, and Zim has answered all
of his as a human slave. A machine falls from the roof, and Ms. Bitters says
that the machine will decide their fate. Dib gets what he wanted to be, but
Zim turned out to have a job in fast food preparation.
The kids all get partnered up, and Dib and his partner start to leave. Zim
and his partner arrive at McMeaties, and Zim sees the sign that says 8 billion
served. He makes the conclusion that that is more than the entire population,
and that if he rules McMeaties, he would rule the world. Zim and his partner
are talking about promotions, and Zim's starts scratching the rash, which
has grown from his neck down to his chin. When he scratched it, stuff came
out and splattered on the fries.
Meanwhile, Dib's partner is talking about the government, being one big conspiracy. Dib notices a stack of files, and asks about them. The man says that they are case files, top ones are the real ones, bottom ones are the fakes. He tells the man that they are filed wrong because Bigfoot and Dinosaurs are with the fake stuff. Dib finds a file that says Galactic Equinox. He explains that at 5:00 that night, the (planets) will align and all the aliens living off their home planets will go through a hideous molt. Dib concludes that the rash on Zim's neck was him going through the molt, and tells the man that they need to get to McMeaties The man stops Dib to tell him that they were there. They arrive at a crop circle, which Dib explains is fake because the cow was rolling around on the grass, making it look like a real one.
Back at McMeaties, Zim is making a Meat Slushie thing, when a man yells at him to hurry up, and that they are going to miss the equinox. Zim tells his partner that he needs to go home, but the guy explains to him that if he takes off, that he'll never get promoted. Zim needs his promotion to become ruler of all humans. Zim tells him that he needs take off at 5:00, and the guy tells him that he needs to see the shift captain.
Back at the "crop circle," Dib is telling the man that they really need to go to McMeaties, but the man is just standing there, theorizing that the aliens have taken over the cow. Dib starts yelling at him that it isn't a supernatural cow. He turns around and sees a billboard of Count Cocofang and makes a lie that he is going to be at McMeaties, thinking that that will lure him to McMeaties. They leave, but Dib's plan falls apart when Count Cocofang is at The Buns Market. The man approaches Count Cocofang and pulls out a stake. Dib tries to block him, telling him that they need to get next door and catch the alien while he's undergoing his molt, but the man starts chasing after Count Cocofang.
At McMeaties, Zim's partner notices that there is a man chasing Count Cocofang. Everyone is drawn to the window, leaving everyone clueless about Zim's molt. He goes through his molt leaving the place a mess. Meanwhile, Count Cocofang escapes, and the man is sad. Dib is sad because he didn't get his partner to see the molt, and Zim is sad because he just got fired.
