This episode starts out with Dib dressed up, ready to spy on Zim. He's telling Gaz that he knows all of the outer defences and just enought of the inner ones to make it into the actual base part, and when he gets it there, man is he going to do something. Gaz gets mad at him, telling him she's trying to draw a little piggy, and to be quiet. Dib asked if she cared if Zim was trying to destroy man-kind, but Gaz said he's so bad at it. Professor Membrane comes up to Gaz on his TV screen, and tells her that it's the annual family night out, and it's her turn to choose where they're going. She tells him that she wants to go to Bloaty's Pizza Hog, and the pig commands her. He said that's fine and he'll be home at eight. Dib says he's going out, and that if he's not home on time, call the number that he gives her, and tell them that the moth-man is caught in the spider's web. He tells her that he'll be back before the Mysterious Mysteries theme song.
Two hours later, Gaz is still on the floor drawing a pig, and Mysterious Mysteries has started, but Dib isn't home. Gaz picks up the paper that Dib gave her, and ate it. Professor Membrane comes home and asks where Dib is, and she says he's out, and to get going. He tells her no, they can't leave without him, and if he doesn't get home soon, then they'll have to put it off until next year. She asks what about the rest of this year, and he calls his assistant and asks how his schedule looks for the rest of the year. He tells him it's very busy. He tells her he's sorry, but he's got a cure to discover at 9:30, and if he's not home soon, then they'll have to cancel the whole thing. Gaz starts to walk away, but Dib calls her on her watch. He says that he's made it in, and that it is incredible, there are things he's never even seen before, and he's going to try and blow it up. Gaz tells him to get back home, and he's not going to ruin this day for her, but Dib tells her that he's breaking up, and he starts to get shot at. She throws her watch down, and Dib tells her to make sure she records that episode, and GIR's face appears on the watch, the evil GIR.
Gaz suites up and makes it to Zim's house. She rings the doorbell, and robo-mom answers the door, saying hello little boy. She gets made at it and knocks her away, making her eyeball fall out. GIR is on the couch watching TV and he tells her that he's guarding the house. A commercial for Bloaty's Pizza Hog comes on, and she seems hypnotised by it. The commercial ends and she asks GIR where Dib is, and GIR goes into defensive mode, saying none shall pass, she's an intrudor. She asks him again and he becomes normal, and points to a desk and says down there. He goes to the desk, which is actually an elevator, and they go down. They make it to the bottom and there is six teleporters. GIR points to the third one, and she asks if he's sure they took that one. GIR says, "YES! Wait, I don't know," but Gaz takes it anyway. She looks out the window and sees that she is in space. She walks around, and hears Zim laughing. She follows his voice, which gets louder as she gets closer. She sees Dib in a bubble thing, and Zim is telling him that he's going to be the first of his species to get experimented on. Gaz thinks about this, and says just one experiment, and then she'll go rescue him. Zim laughs and tells Dib that he's going to see what he looks like with his organs on the outside. Gaz watches in amazement.
Gaz comes back home, dragging an inside-out Dib in the house, saying that they can go to Bloaty's now. Professor Membrane tells her no, they can't go out with Dib like that, and family night is canceled until Dib has his organs inside him again.
Gaz, has been dreaming this, and says that's too bad, and slides down Dibs bubble. Zim says that this must be some kind of joke. He said that he would hold her back, but he made the contaiment chamber himself, and he wanted the amusement of watching her get him out herself. Gaz turns around and kicks the chamber lightly, breaking the glass and spilling out all the stuff in there, releasing Dib. Dib thanks Gaz, and she tells him to come on. He said that they can't go now, that they can stop him as a team.
She straps him down on something, and Dib is yelling at her that they can stop his reign of terror, but she tells him all she wants is some pizza, hang out with dad, and not let his weirdness mess up his day. While they were talking, Zim has cut all the cables to the teleporters, and tells them that they can't escape now, stupid, stinking humans. She asked Zim if the station had escape pods, and said of course and pointed to where they were. They make it out with Zim tailing closely behind them, firing at them also, but a piece of debris came and broke Zim's firing cannon. Gaz calls Professor Membrane and tells him that they're going to meet him at Bloaty's. Zim uses a crappling cannon to pull them together, and Gaz uses a self destruct to set them on fire, sending Zim flying around, and them falling towards Bloaty's. The fat Bloaty mascot gets out of his suit, and sits on his couch. Gaz comes flying into his room and bounces right off of him, safely. Gaz carries Dib out of the room, where they sit down to their pizza. Dib is telling Gaz that he had him, when Zim walks in. He is about to tell Dib that they are going to finish this once and for all, but the Bloaty's mascots come up to Zim and scare him out. Gaz tells him that he won, and told him to eat his pizza.
