A drawing I did of a gothic guy. Surprisingly, my mom saw it and didn't freak out, she said it was good, not much else, but at least she didn't freak and try to lecture me on it... hehe. I think it turned out ok, though the flash on the camera reflected off the color and paper, as usual...
More inspiration from Terry Goodkind
Ok, so if you can't tell, I tend to get a lot of inspirations for drawings and paintings from Terry Goodkind, author of The Sword of Truth series. This drawing is of one of the main characters, Kahlan. Once again, it is much more easily understood after you read the books... But I will attempt to explain. When Richard, the man Kahlan is in love with, is in trouble, Kahlan can bring up this extremely powerful magic. I believe it's called Con Dar, but I have to check... But, when she's in this state, she can conjure up blue lightening and make it hit anyone she feels is endangering Richard. Her physical power also increases, she will do anything to protect her love. This drawing is my interpretation of her changing to this state, though she doesn't have her angry/protective face yet, maybe I'll draw that some other time, her in action striking someone with lightening.
