Preparations

We had quite a few volunteers this year for our Haunted Castle.

We added on from last year, the castle stretching all around the canopy.

Artists volunteered to paint scary faces in the castle windows.

We put together a haunted graveyard in the front lawn.

We decorated indoors with vines and spider webs.

My friend Sam Little brought a coffin for us to use.

All over Sykes there was excitement building as we prepared for the haunted castle.

Plans had been in the making for several months.
