I Didn't Mean To . . .
"I killed them. I didn't mean to . . . well, yes, I did. I didn't mean to kill her. That was truely an accident." He sat by her grave, waiting, watching.
"Hey, Spike!" Willow chirped happily.
"Hey, Red." Willow was the only one Spike actually liked.
"Hey, where's Nibblet?" Spike asked.
"She should be here in a few min-" Buffy started, but got cut off as Dawn came in.
"Spike!" she said happily and threw her arms around his neck.
"Nibblet." Spike hugged her back.
"What are we researching?" Dawn asked.
"A new demon." Willow answered shyly.
"Anything?" Spike asked.
"Yeah. It's a Brownie Demon. It goes after . . . brownies. Although, it is nasty to humans. We can kill it easily, though. The only thing is that . . . well . . . he reaches into your mind and takes your soul." Willow explained.
"Then I guess I'll kill it." he answered.
"OK. To kill it, you need to get close enough to strangle it." Buffy said.
"Got it, pet."
"Let's go." They found the demon easily and Spike got close enough to strangle it. It reached into Spike's head, pulling out a little metal square. Spike killed it.
"Cor! You don't know how much him going into my head hurt!" Spike whined on the way back to the Magic Box. In his hand was a little piece of metal . . .
"That was easy." Anya said.
"Yes, too much so." Giles said.
"I'm leavin'." Spike announced before anyone could say goodbye. Spike pulled the metal thing out of his duster pocket.
"Let's see if the chip is out, shall I?" Spike hummed happily. He put the chip back in his pocket. On the way back to his crypt, Spike saw a human girl. She was running. Spike grabbed her and decided to experiment. He sunk his fangs into her throat. He filled himself up and dropped the lifeless corpse to the ground, sighing contentedly.
He decided it was time to fix the demons who thought he was all bark and no bite. He went to Willy's.
Spike came out of Willy's. He had brought total chaos in with him. *It's good to be back.* Spike thought. He had roughed Willy up. They feared him again. *It's good to be feared.* he thought as he went back to his crypt.
Spike went to Xander's house next. He killed Anya and hurt Xander bad enough to die in the next few minutes. He died, not before watching his lover's face, dead, next to his. Then Spike left and went to Giles. Giles had died before Spike had gotten there. He had slit his wrists.
One was left. Spike went to Willow's house. She opened her balcony doors.
"Be a vampire or die, pet?" He asked, grabbing her as she stepped onto the balcony.
"Die!" she said, defiantly. Spike was going to change her. He was in love with her and wanted to be with her forever. He drank, she died . . .
"I know she will never come back. I took too much blood, didn't give her enough. Willow is dead for good." Tear tracks were on his face. Spike waited for the sun to rise. Then he watched his last sunrise and exploded into dust.
