Kazaba Evilbane

Race:  Human
Class:  Ranger
Religion:  Tunare
Office:  Chancellor
Kazaba is the son of merchants who, in happier days, plied their trade between Qeynos, Surefall Glade, and Highpass Hold.  They were humble folks, and young Kazaba dreamed of bigger dreams.  He idolized Hagar Sureshot, who bought arrows from Kazaba's father.  He idolized Hagar's skill with a blade, his ability to track down the evil creatures of the land, and his ability to find food in the wild.  But most of all Kazaba idolized Hagar's skill with a bow.

Kazaba was determined to become an archer.  He practiced day and night.  He even practiced inside his parents wagon, despite his mother's warning that an arrow might richochet and hit him.  Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened.  One day 10 year old Kazaba shot an arrow, it richochetted off a frying pan hanging in the wagon, and landed square in Kazaba's right eye.  Fortunately a passing druid of Tunare was able to save the boy's life, unfortunately his eye was beyond repair.

Kazaba was distraught, fearing that this would keep him from his goal of becoming a great archer.  In time though, Kazaba has overcome this disability to become a deadly archer.  The druid who healed him inspired Kazaba to worship Tunare, the mother of all things.

When Kazaba was 16, his father pulled him aside.  "I have tried to guide you to the path of a merchant," he said, " but I know your heart will not be satisfied until you are a Ranger.  Take this sword, and this note that I have written to Hagar Sureshot.  He will launch you on the path to becoming a ranger.  I know that your goddess Tunare will watch over you, but try to be safe.  And son, come visit me and your mother from time to time."

Kazaba went to Surefall Glade and began his training.  Hagar advised him "Start slow, try fighting some of the rats and other vermin which plague our lands, maybe try your luck with a Blackburrow whelp or a decaying skeleton."  Being young and impetuous Kazaba rushed right out and attacked a full fledged skeleton.  Fortunately for him, the Ranger Holly Windstalker was nearby and saved him.  "Another young Ranger out for glory heh?  I bet Hagar told you not to attack the fully formed Skeletons.  Be more careful, next time I might not be there to save you, young Kazaba!  Oh and stay away from my Bears!"

Slowly Kazaba increased in his skills.  Soon he was dispatching the skeletons that had once frightened him with ease.  He decided to meet his parents on the planes of Karana.  His heart told him something was wrong as he saw a blazing fire in the distance.  He ran towards the fire only to find that it was his parent's wagon ablaze.  Two bandits were picking through his parents bodies.

Kazaba killed his first bandit that day, and his second, and his 10th.  Today he has slain over 500 of the foul bandits.  There is nothing the bandits of Karana fear more then Kazaba's fell blades.

In time Kazaba left Antonica and traveled to other lands.  He has gasped at the beauty of Fironia Vie, stood in awe of the mighty waterfall of the Great Divide, and battled the undead in the City of Mist, but always Surefall Glade is his home.

He has also found a family.  The House of Wargoth has given direction to his wanderings.  His blades now strike for Wargoth, and for those who need him throughout Norrath.
