Galor

Race:  Barbarian
Class:  Rogue
Religion:  The Tribunal
Office:  None

Born just outside of Halas in the darkest part of winter, Galor grew up in a hard working family of Barbarians who asked for nothing and kept to themselves. His father and older brothers all worked their land into fertile soil that they used to grow what crops they could when warmer times came around, and then lived off of the Mammoth the rest of the time. On the rare occasions that Galor got to go into the City of Halas with his father to sell Mammoth pelts and tusks, he was awestruck by the wealth and splendor of the city. Alas, he thought to himself. He would never be able to travel the world for adventure like some of the travelers he would see pass, he was bound to his families land. the fates however, had other plans for Galor. On the night of his 7th day of birth, a strange blizzard enveloped Everfrost Peaks. Deadly ice rained from the sky, and hurling winds blew through the Mountain passes. Galor was at his home that day with his mother and sisters because of his special celebration day. His father and brothers were caught out in the storm. Galor's father barely made it to their home to safety, but not without harm. Galor's brothers were never found. Without the strong arms and backs of Galor's brothers, and he being only 7 years old, Galor's father could not work the farm alone. Galor's mother had also taken ill and there was no way to survive as things had turned. Galor was taken one day by his Father into Halas without Mammoth hides or tusks. Galor's father started telling him how the family could not survive as things were, and that Galor deserved a better life. Galor and his father met with a shady character near the Halas bank, and the two men talked in whispers out of Galor's earshot. A bag of coin was given to Galor's father before he came back to Galor. His father explained to Galor that he was to be apprenticed to the man as a rogue of Halas. Although Galor did not understand all of what was happening, he honored his father's wisdom and threw himself into his new role. He quickly became adept at the trade and was quite successful until the Halas watch cracked down during a time of reform and caused the rogue order to go into hiding. It was at this time that Galor, who had acquired equipment and gold enough to support himself, decided to see the world. he has had many adventures and mishaps, drifting from place to place, wherever there are pockets to be picked, noblemen to be swindled, or treasures to be found.

Currently, Galor is associated with the stout hearts of the House of Wargoth, and plans to stay put for awhile as long as the loot rolls in, and the drink is abundant.
