Elvora was born in the safe haven of Surefall Glade. She is the daughter of Aqua and Trenious Moonstorm. Her mother Aqua was a beautiful and alluring wood elf who married a wealthy human ranger named Trenious. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Surefall Glade, where they lived when their daughter Elvora was born. Even though Elvora was fortunate to have very loving parents who did not spare any expense when it came to their daughter, she still was not accepted by others growing up. Due to her wood elf mother and human father, she was branded as a “half-elf” and not accepted fully by either race. But even though others looked upon her as a half-breed, she could always count on her parents for love and support when others failed her.
The dark day in Elvora’s life happened in her 16th season when on a family outing in the Qeynos Hills. Her family was ambushed by a group of Blackburrow Gnolls and resulted in the death of her mother and father. Elvora, having the ability to outrun most adversaries, was able to get away to safety. But even though she had made it to safety, she was left all alone in a harsh, unfriendly land filled with only loneliness and regret. It was then that she decided she must leave Surefall Glade and find her way in the world.
After the death of her parents, Elvora spent many months wandering the lands looking for a sense of belonging and discovering the beauty of the natural surroundings that embraced her. She learned that she could always depend on the land around her for not only food and nourishment, but also for comfort and strength. She drew her inner strength from her surroundings and felt a sense of belonging to the wolves and animals that befriended her. It was during this time that Elvora also met a wise old Treant who nurtured and mentored her on how to draw strength and power from her natural surroundings and utilize those strengths in time of need. Elvora learned from the wise old Treant and developed the talent to channel the powers that nature possesses and to befriend animals to become her allies to help defeat those who confronted her.
Elvora vowed to gain revenge for the death of her parents. Not only was death promised to the Gnolls, but to all wicked creatures who dare to darken the lands that Tunare has blessed.
In her travels, Elvora happened across a strange group of friends in which many others were also followers of Tunare. The group was called the House of Wargoth. It was there that she was able to develop an additional sense of belonging and friendship.
Since joining Wargoth, Elvora rarely travels alone
anymore…And it is her pleasure to always be available to assist a friend in
need.
