I searched throughout England for months and found out that Kane was an American and had been searching for me through all the vampire clans of England. Kane had killed quite alot of their families, so they were more helpful to me than normal.

I found out that Kane had been in New York and the city life always did call to me when I lived in the countryside. So I took my search to New York City.

From the very moment I set foot in the city I felt weird. It was like being a mortal again, when in the countryside back home I was forever having to hide from mortals whereas here in the big city they didn't even realise I was an immortal. It felt good to able to just walk amoung them again, without them running in fear.

I got myself a small hotel room in the center of the city and began searching out vampires. It was alot harder to find them with it being such a large city.
