Training Your Pets

TRAINING SCHOOL: Relatively Cheap
Course Type Cost Length
Up to Level 20 Basic - 1 codestone 1 hour
Up to level 40 - Advanced 2 codestones 2 hours
Up to Level 80 Master - 3 codestones 4 hours

Beyond Level 80 - Grand Master - 4 codestones 6 hours Always train your level to the minimum, and train the other stats until it reaches the maximum you can go. Your stats can go up to twice the number of your levels. Then train your level a little to train the other stats again.

One word of warning, if your pet goes over level 20 it will take 2 codestones to raise any stat 1 level. So train the other stats as far as you can go before you train the level again. And keep the level at 19 maximum while you do so, as a precaution against random events that will increase your level.

NEGGS: Expensive but effective for high level pets

Cackling Negg Grants ability 'Shadow Health'
Cool Negg Increases level by 1, strength, HP, and movement stats, roughly by 2-3 stats each
faerie Gueen Negg Increases the HP stat by 1 stat
Power Negg Increases Strength 1 stat
Radioactive Negg Increases a random ability

Silver Knight Negg Increases Defence 1 stat
Snegg Increases agility and Hp stats by 2 or 3
Spiked Negg Increases HP stat by 5 stats
Spinning Negg Grants ability 'Air Shield'
Super Negg increases 1 level, 2 HP, and 2 agility stats

The Underwater Kitchen in Maraqua

On occasions, the Chef increases stats upon completion of a kitchen quest, but this rarely happens and the cost is high, so we would suggest that it not be used as a way to train your pet, unless you have the np and the time.

Intelligence

Intelligence can be raised through books. You can also raise it through certain games such as cliffhanger, poogle solitaire, or guess the card.

The Secret Laboratory

You can train your pet using the secret laboratory. You can gain access to it by getting all the secret laboratory maps and putting them together in the treasure map game. It is somewhat unreliable and slow. You can only use the lab once a day, and the lab does many other things, such as changing the type of pet or it's colour, besides increasing your stats. Basically, the lab may randomly increase your pet's stats a point or two, or it may decrease your stats as well, especially your level.

Relatively cheap, as doubloon prices go. It works the same way as the Training School, except that it only works for pets below level 40.
