The dodgy watering hole "Kay San" that he tended for was owned by some Asian Mafioso's who by this time and with any luck was snap frozen and being served on a table somewhere after blabbing about crucial drug trade deals. Dale could hardly careless about those thugs, he did his job and he did it well, if he didn't see it, it didn't happen and anyway, he had his own problems to think about.
Above the blur of music and noise Dale heard a knock from the back door, business no doubt, he slammed down the newly cleaned glass onto the cold metal counter and turned to see what was the matter.
"What's your problem?" he whispered hoarsely as he peeked through the hole in the door.
"A Class M battery and a TH skin, that's my problem" Paige whispered back, looking around nervously. There were wandering drunks in the alley behind Kay San that didn't take too kindly to him so Paige was eager to leave as soon as he got what he came for.
"Fine, come in, just don't let anyone see you too much or my balls are on a stick" Dale huffed as he opened the door and let him in. Paige wore a heavy black coat with a hood, he pulled it back just a bit to look less conspicuous even if there was only one sated looking man at the end of the bar. His pale skin tinted with the blue neon of the bar lights, Paige looked at the short stumpy creature who manned it and pulled out the two pieces of salvaged weaponry from his coat.
"Nice... a little char grilled on the edges but nice... Roteblut?" he questioned the origin of the items
"Tintoy"
"Those little hoons been cruising again?" Dale said sliding his newly acquired items under the counter.
"Hey, what about what I've been waiting for?" Paige narrowed his brilliant blue eyes
"Keep your skin on... its' hear, and believe me its worth just a little more than a TH skin" Dale held out a little bottle that was hidden in the false bottom of a liquor bottle.
"Don't worry, Roteblut and Tapers Tribe are due for another act of drunken terrorism in the Ghetto, its worth it..." Paige said snatching the little vile from the fat mans' fingers and held it up to the light for a moment.
"If anything, I don't want to know what you and Ry get up to with that shit" Dale said waddling back to his seat and restarted to clean shot glasses
"If anything, its best that you don't" Paige said flicking his hood over his head once more and leaving through the back door once again, slamming it hard behind him.
"... Why do I bother" Dale sighed and looked down the length of the bar to see his last customer stumble off his chair and bolt out the door.
Dale finished up and closed shop for the night, he'd take those parts to the black market traders in the morning... besides...
...he had his own problems to think about
