Merits:

Unshockable: Due to the fact that Valor has been embraced, sat through Black Hand initiation, been part of raiding parties in Camarilla cities, been part of the Sabbat, been to the Shadowlands and been through the Pit to be brought back he has seen everything, he has lost all sense of shame and revulsion. This makes it impossible for him to be shocked by any action another may carry out, his stomach is also tough, he can consume any substance, nothing is revolting anymore.

Demonic Tutor: Valor has a demonic tutor that guides him and looks over him. His reputation within the Pit is growing everyday and fear is spreading throughout all the beings that interact with him. This has caused him to gain the favour of a demonic mentor who is actually fond of Valor and makes efforts on his behalf, offering him information and investments free of charge… for now.

Unholy Aura: (I’ll give the books description because it kicks ass) Like a living cloud of darkness, an Infernalist with this deadly gift drives all holiness from his presence. Relics and goodly trappings crumble in his grasp, living things whither where he stands and men and woman of Faith hide their faces and flee when he approaches.

To anyone who can see auras Valor looks like a walking storm cloud, to anyone with the Awareness Talent he seems incredibly ancient, though most likely not to anyone that knows Valor and his past. People with True Faith will run away in abject horror. If the person fails to run Valor’s infernal taint will overpower the person’s Faith; the person will cower in a pitiful heap, stigmata like wounds erupt across her heads, side and arms, or leap like whiplashes across her skin. A Holy person’s nostrils will sear with brimstone clouds and the air churns with his foul presence.

This Merit isn’t a power, a reflection of Valor’s connection with infernalism and the Void.

Nine Lives: In actual game terms this is useless for room rp but I thought I’d put it in to help explain some of his history. Figure it out yourself.

Useful Knowledge: Valor has a lot of useful knowledge. He has knowledge of the Sabbat, Camarilla, the Assamites, the Wyrm, Garou, Magi, Infernalism and a few whispers of demonic plans for the world.

Flaws:

Repulsive to Animals… use your imagination.

Cannibal: Valor not only likes to kill people but he actually needs to and eat them. This is not a physical flaw but a mental one, in which Valor wants to consume people whole he actually feels the need to eat portions of flesh from most his living victims.

Nightmares: Every time that Valor sleeps he is haunted with old memories and images of the future that leave him in pretty fucked up mental states, this is what puts him in a bad mood most the time.

Vengeful: Valor is obsessed with getting people back for doing anything remotely bad to him; it’s what drives him (look at his history). The overriding priority in most situations with Valor is seeking revenge.

Dark Secret: Valor’s infernal life is a secret gnawing at him constantly when making new acquaintances. For people to know his true nature would be an extreme thorn in his side concerning ‘business’ matters. People who say that he is evil will end up tortured and tongueless (look what happened to poor Fiorenzo). He does mouth of at times about how good he is, his arrogance getting too much of him.

Hunted: The police are constantly trying to piece together information on Valor as his description has been given in relation to many horrendous crimes (Valor often doesn’t bother to clean up). This causes him to constantly be moving between havens and having people snoop around in his business.

Eerie Presence: Mortals have an unconscious awareness to Valor’s nature. There’s something about him that worries them, this makes it hard for him to interact with mortals at times, though he usually covers up this flaw with demonic investments.

Black Eyes: His eyes are black through infernal branding, though this does nothing to his vision it does hinder social interactions (hence always wearing sunglasses). If he were placed anywhere in New Orleans people would think he was strange…

Victim of the Masquerade: When in foreign cities Valor sticks out like a sore thumb when working. He breaks the masquerade frequently, causing Camarilla vampires to notice and try to destroy him, making travelling hard to do.

Obsession: Valor is obsessed with corrupting innocence, he will go out of his way to make the innocent his victims, he can’t resist.

“Powers”

Valor is a strange creature, the rules have been bent to make him, I will not lie and I do not care. How many fourth generation vamps have been running around Solace and V Chat for the past few years? Millions, that’s how many. If everyone played by ‘the rules’ then we should all be playing 13th Gen chars mostly, nothing wrong with lower gens but 6th Gen chars are as common as mugging in New York. Valor has a lot of powers yes, but if you’ve ever seen him use more than a handful I’d be surprised, he hardly uses powers to fight.

Risen:

Firstly Valor does not feel pain because he is Risen, it’s not a power it’s just the way it is. Aggravated damage does however cause him pain. Valor has Deathsight and Lifesight, helping him tell if a person is alive or dead, and Heightened Senses also.

Basic Risen Powers:

Deathsight: These aren’t powers like levels of disciplines, just ways of using Deathsight.

Discern Weakness: Valor can see under the skin of a person and find out physical weaknesses in their body.

Sense Health: He can see things like diseases, disabilities, handicaps, blood loss, though it’s hard for him to use this because he is not a doctor.

Lifesight:

Sense Sentiment: When people become aware of each other there is a momentary flare in their life energy, this means that Valor can see the true feelings others hold for each other.

Arcanoi: Valor knew certain Wraith powers to make himself whole again but I will disregard that he ever had them because that would be ridiculous.

Valor has the Arcanoi Flux. I never use these powers, just I may one day, so don’t cry.

He has three dots in Flux that are almost useless but I like them:

Grave Mold: He may cause spontaneous growth of lichen and mildew in small areas. Be repeated use of this ability he can spread decay throughout a whole house.

Altered States: He can strengthen or age a non-living item making it strong or weak.

Decay: Can promote a significant amount of decay in objects.

Disciplines:

Valor can have disciplines because he is Risen, Risen are allowed Cel, Pot, Fort and Obf nothing else, since Valor originally had Celerity it was with him always and it’s not exactly hard to find someone to teach Obfuscate when you’ll kill them if they don’t.

Celerity

Obfuscate (used only for exits basically, don’t get your panties in a twist)

Infernal Investments:

These Investments are extremely easy for Valor to acquire as they are bestowed upon him in exchange for infernal service, that being sinning. These types of things include killing holy men, burning churches, leading Infernal cults, doing favors for his Patron, skinning babies, raping women, corrupting people, turning others to Infernalism etc… He gets power for doing things he considers fun.

Apportation: Valor’s black bladed Katana has been bonded to him magically. He can call upon it from anywhere in the mortal world and it will appear in his hand.

Demonic Strength: Evil vitality flows through Valor’s body making him strong, like Potence.

Claws: Grows claws from his hand like Protean: Wolf Claws.

Horns: Yes, he does have horns in his skull.

Hellfire: A form of the traditional Hellfire, Valor doesn’t actually breathe fire but spits acidic bile.

Luciferian Charm: Literally a charming devil, Valor can get away with almost anything when using this.

Regeneration: This is Valor’s healing factor; it lets him regenerate wounds of all kinds and even limbs.

Uncanny Beauty: Unearthly, irresistible beauty.

Wings: Valor has large demonic bat like wings in his shoulder blades that can be retracted at will.
