Caresse is an enigma nobody knows where she came from; simply one day Valor had a ‘daughter’. Although he referred to Erin as his daughter he felt her slipping away from him so aimed to replace her with Caresse. But there’s more to it than that Caresse was placed in Valor’s care for a specific reason.

Caresse is not a normal child she is in fact a laham a child born of demonic heritage when a demon possesses a human body. Caresse’s mother Anabell was raped by Nazi’s during the Second World War during the occupation of France. The particular foot solider was possessed by the demon Moloch a terrible demon the demands the lives of innocents, often skinned, eaten, gored or burned alive before he appears. When he does appear as himself he is naked except for the blood of slain children, he stands like a fiery man and drinks cups full of salty tears.

As Caresse is really Moloch’s daughter he enlisted Valor to raise her in return for being Valor’s patron.

For the past fifty years or so Caresse has been looked after by the Seers of Chronos a cult of Infernal Magus who serve the demon Chronos, the master of time and space. They have been trying to unlock the secret to why she never ages, though it’s not uncommon for a laham to live to 200 the fact that her body hasn’t grown for half a century remains a mystery.

The supernatural pull of New Orleans attracted Moloch’s attention, thinking that perhaps there is an answer in the voodoo rife city. He then sent Caresse to be looked after by Valor, knowing that she will be safe in his care.

Apart from his usual activities of slaughter and mayhem Valor must now also look for an answer to Caresse’s infant immortality. 

Caresse is a beautiful child upon first glance. She has cheek length brown hair and a fringe, cut around her chubby little face. Her still blue eyes are radiant like cold diamonds shinning underneath the blackened sea. Her small lips are pink and full, constantly in a small pout. Her body and mind hasn’t aged since the day she was three leaving her a powerful infernalist trapped within a child’s body. On the small of her back she was a demonic branding burnt into her skin.

Flaws:

She’s trapped in a three year olds body and has been for fifty years.

Because of Caresse’s demonic heritage she infects all places she visits in the form of bad dreams. People around her find it hard to sleep as they’re haunted by demonic images radiating from her mind, this causes people to often go insane, making it hard to take her anywhere in public.

RP: Caresse will remain a small child for a while until I get this storyline going which means Valor will have to find a way to accelerate her growth somehow. Once this happens she will be played as a teenager or young adult. Caresse is perhaps Valor’s best or worst weakness, if she is killed or endangered then he will suffer an eternity of torture at Moloch’s hand.
