"My only crime was that I cared, and wasn't there enough to show it." ~Lizzy

Some Basic Info Back to Main

What can I say? I know a lot about her, so I guess it falls upon me to tell the tale. I know she wouldn't.

Elizabeth Thompson, more commonly known as Lizzy, grew up in a middle class home. She had a unique family, two loving parents. Charlotte and Richard Thompson. She had a wonderful sister named Monica. It wasn't so much like "Leave it to Beaver," or "The Brady Bunch," but the type of family where they never felt the need to keep secrets from one another.

When Monica fell ill, the parents sat down with Elizabeth, the three talked of how they would get through this and what had to be done to get there. Through much discussion, and lots of prayer, they all came to a decision. Charlotte and Richard both got second jobs, and Lizzy dropped out of school in order to take care of her sister.

It wasn't like Lizzy had done to well in school anyways. She barely passed the third grade, when most children her age were in sixth. She could hardly read, her mathematics struggled. Even her social skills lacked. But, she did have a heart that would stretch beyond all bounds for her family. But let me get back to the story.

It was two long years before Monica's body finally grew tired of the struggle, and gave out. In those two years the doctors never did figure out what was wrong with her, only that for some reason...her body lacked the amount of blood it should have. Even after the hundreds of blood transfusions.

Four years later, Elizabeth received another shock. One that could probably be said to have eventually led her to what she is now. Her parents disappeared. It was about a week after the disappearance when they found portions of their mutilated bodies near the mall at the River Walk. Unfortunately they never found all the pieces.

The cops quickly covered up the massacre. And soon everyone had forgotten the tragedy. All but Elizabeth. Who, having nothing else to loose, she took it upon herself to find the killer.

She frequented bars, dressed with the rags that covered her. And found nothing, until one day she awoke and found a strange letter tucked in her jacket. It didn't say much, only that this person knew who had killed her parents, and to meet this person at a certain place and time.

She met him, Rian, a Lasombra, and he told her about vampires and the particular vampire who had took her parents, and had slowly taken her sister. Matthew.

It was that night she became a slayer. And it was that night she swore she wouldn't let something like this happen to anyone else. Though, until recently, she forgot that.

I feel the need to side track a bit. Elizabeth has a mark on her thigh, right above her left ankle. Which, according to her, looks remarkably like the one her sister once had. Which she eventually found out was Matthew's mark. And his claim to her. Though Matthew did nothing to her but suggest he was one day going to take her as he did her whole family.

Now back to the story...

Fortunately...depending on how you look at things...she was at a particular bar, when a man named Young, and his childe Valor were there. They taunted her, and she sat. They beckoned to her, and still she sat. She was still too young to fight, but she was willing to wait, learn about her enemy before striking. Young didn't see things that way. Eventually he grew bored, and grew a bit nasty...

And after a small battle, her against two assamites...her crumbled body fell. But still she fought. Young gave Valor the order to embrace her. And it was her who was able to fight off the addicting taste of our vitae, and spit it out. But Young was stubborn, and so was Valor. They tried again, forcing her jaw shut, blocking any possible breath she might have taken....and finally she swallowed. Damning herself...so some would say.

She spent the next month or so locked up at Valor's home. She managed to sneak out on occasion, only to be beaten when her sire found out. Time after time she tried to use her new skills to take out her creator. Each time she failed, and each time, it was Valor who offered to heal her. And each time, she accepted.

Eventually her hatred grew to love. Though both wondered if it was from the blood he had given her on many previous occasions.

One night, while Elizabeth was out. She stumbled across two gangrel. One Gabriel Chapel, and his childe, Celeste. I'm unsure as to whom struck first, though I'd lay my hand that it was my sire. At the time she viewed herself as 'sabbat' and this Gabriel had been Camarilla at least at that time. Though, if my memory serves me right, it was Elizabeth that almost killed the two. Why she let them live, or at least Gabriel, I'm not sure. But they fought another time...neither of them taking out the other. Odd...since I know Lizzy is capable of it.

Forgive me on the next several parts. As my sire, Lizzy, never really gave me much detail about them. She fell in love with Ricki something or another. And Valor grew jealous. But, he wanted what was right for his childe, and he decided. So instead of making her choose one or the other, he left, and let her and Ricki be together.

When she found out, it was her choice to go in search for her sire. Her creator. She was his, and even then she knew it.

From there on the two seemed to find each other on and off. But one would disappear, and than the other. I can't say I know the reasons for all of Lizzy's disappearances. She seemed not too interested in sharing them with me. Set aside the fact that she embraced me in this time. But even then, she didn't spend all of her time with me.

Another man stepped into Lizzy's life, though I'm not really sure at what point. I'm fairly certain it was during the times that Valor and Lizzy rarely saw eachother...but I'd like to state that I can't be certain. Lizzy attacked one infamous Janus. And truth be told I'm not even sure Lizzy remembers why. Being addicted the the taste of vampire vitae already, she bit down into his awaiting flesh. Not knowing that with that one bite...she was damned to serve him. Lucky enough Janus too disappeared, like most men in her life. She fought at the cravings, she struggled to be strong. But through this, she had found a book. A book in ancient Egyptian, with spells...that Lizzy couldn't read. She struggled to get someone to help her learn...and when she had finally found someone who wouldn't shy away from that book. Young returned to her. They talked briefly, and he tore the book from her grip. Then he was gone...and never seen again.

Later down the line, Valor came to Liz. But as a Wraith, a ghost. And even with the fact set in her mind that he no longer lived, it didn't matter to her. She knew that even when she couldn't see him. He was somewhere near, watching her. With any blood spell that might have been, now broken. She knew she loved him.

Once more he disappeared, and came back with a body. Liz says something along the lines that he sold his soul to come back. And since than, his love, the love she thought he had for her, was gone. She was tired of fighting, tired of caring too much. And she tried to abandon herself to him, giving up what virginity she had left.

Her mind, unable to handle this change, split to two. Elizabeth, and Lizzy. Elizabeth taunted those she had once cared for. Tried her hardest to destroy them, like she had been destroyed. Lizzy hid in the recesses of her mind, and tried to turn a blind eye to everything. I can't say I experienced this change, since she never visited me at this point. But she did tell me of two people who could reach her side known as Lizzy. Rian, the man who had tried to protect her in so many ways...And Ricki, who through most of her beginning had been there.

Eventually, during one of Valor's disappearances, a man came to her. He comforted her, and seemed to understand her troubles. And for once, in a long while, she felt whole.

The man who holds no name, brought her somewhere in the middle east. A place that other people lived in, studied, trained, and taught. It was these people who also took her under their wings and taught her to read, educated her on other clans, amongst many other skills. And when that was all done, she was sent back to New Orleans. Though in her mind, she was now Young's childe, and she knew no Valor.

Eventually that masquerade faded, and her memories returned. But it was too late. Valor had her. And she was chained and hung like some doll on the wall.

They talked, and kissed one final time. And he breathed fire into her, burning her from the inside out. The only clue of who the unnamed man and his people were, lay in a chip that landed in the ashes that had been her. The chip that Valor stepped on, and crushed.

Later I received a letter from my sire. One saying it was time to finish our business deal. Which meant she was dead, and she needed me to bring her back. Unfortunately I needed to find the Giovanni who could do it. And so my search began...

It took many months. The list of Giovanni's that I could find were for the most part dead. Killed off by a new clan calling themselves the Harbringers of Skulls. Finally, I found Antonio Giovanni of Atlanta, and for a price I dare not say. He agreed.

Before I knew it, what had been the deal since my creation was done. My soul was forced from my body, and placed in the arm band I once wore. And my sire entered my body.

She wandered around for a couple months. Trying, herself, to find who had messed with her head, and sent her to her death. Her attempts were in vain. But through her journey's she met Swann, a Tzimisce. And after helping Swann with some business, Swann helped Liz create my body in her old image.

Eventually Liz set foot once again in New Orleans. Though she kept her whereabouts quiet. Only recently revealing herself. Her first appearance would have been Rian, who's changed much in the past years as well. Than Ricki, which Lizzy could only tell him how sorry she was that she hadn't stayed with him those many moons ago. Janus followed, though I'm not sure why she sought him out. Gabriel she found, and apologised to him for her past mistakes. And finally Valor...though I'm sure he found her first.

Which brings me to another interesting fact. It seems Valor and Lizzy no longer need to be in physical contact to know what the other is either thinking or doing. With what Lizzy had said on the matter, it seems for the most part each can control what they project, and what they accept. I guess when not expecting something, or when they want to accept something do the images come across full force. It is partly those images that have created the nightmares she awakes screaming of. She's changed a lot, I've noticed. From the stories she told of her mortal days, to the time she embraced me, and even more so since her return. She seems to have a goal, one she wont even tell me. But again, I drift...

She embraced another, Lorina. Though it was more by accident than anything. Lorina was cocking off her mouth, saying something along the lines of how Liz couldn't handle Valor, but she could. Lorina had no idea who Valor really was. And in a rather cruel effort, Liz gave the girl a taste. She grabbed her, pinned her down...and drank her blood. Tossing Lorina's slowly dieing body on the ground. Lorina begged for mercy, and Valor, like Young had done with Lizzy, told Liz to embrace her. But Liz didn't listen to. Instead she asked the girl if that was what she wanted. Though I thin the girl was too dilerious to answer. And finally Liz had to make the choice. Her mind said, 'Let the girl die. Don't let her suffer as you have.' While her heart said otherwise. 'Take her, and give her the second chance she deserves.'

The two spent much time together, one teaching, the other learning. They talked, and let their minds drift to things that never matter. It was Lorina who moved forward, and attempted the first kiss. And though Lizzy turned her head, whispering how it wasn't the place nor time, it was Lizzy who eventually accepted the kiss. How fast their relationship has grown...and now they're lovers...

Lorina has a good soul, and seems eager to learn the ways that are destined for her. Liz is taking special care to try and prepare her for Valor. Though no one knows what will happen when that day finally comes.

A week hasn't even passed by, and now Liz is looking at another girl to bring into this family battle. Angela. A mage of sorts.

And all I can say, is I know a war is coming. But even I have no idea what battle field it will happen on. Maybe only Elizabeth knows that, if that.

Sincerely Yours,
Majida
