ANSWERING

extended arms reveal open hands
i pray oh Lord please do understand
ache in paunch plus pain in temple
try to walk but my ankle tremble
i see Your light and i am Your salt
i praise You for the Son You brought
without the Son of David all is lost
He loves us no matter the cost
Holy Spirit enter for my palms open
hear my cry and empathize my groaning
filly me up for there must be more
i'm answering the knocked upon door
