Chase Away The Pain

 I want to wake up next to you,
And stare into your eyes.
I feel like I belong to you,
Your love has saved my life.

I found it all inside of you,
Everything I'll ever need.
Because when I told you, " I love you",
You claimed that you loved me.

I have alwys hungered for death,
And been waiting for the day
That my body be laid to rest,
And my spirit move away.

I tried to escape this earth,
And blood hit the ground.
I could never finish first,
And my life was hellward bound.

And when she broke my hart,
I could not stand the pain.
My spirit fell apart,
And I became insane.

The loneliness was killing mr,
Eating away my soul.
The pain overwhelming me.
I wanted to live no more.

Your love saved my life.
You chased away the pain.
By standing by my side,
Now I can be sane.
