Intricate designs on the walls of the temples. Do not think nothing about these sculptures as they tell the story or the history of the Angkorian era. Of course, you would need the guide book in order to make out the story.
On the last visit, Arica became the story-teller as as she read Lonely Planet's guidebook. History came alive and I was soon engaged in 'the lesson'. I was lost in the wonder of it all and I wanted more.
