How Many Times We Actually Do!

Hello everyone! This is Dr. Laura Fitzweiler, Ph.D. I recently oversaw a conduction of a survey funded by the United States government. The purpose of this survey was to find out the sexual habits of the average american. This is just part one of the survey; more questions were asked in the random survey whose participants included over a million randomly selected american citizens.

This first part of the survey contains the results and analysis provided by the answers to two questions.

1. How many times a week do you proclaim to have sex?
2. How many times a week do you actually have sex?

The results of this survey might surprise you. So, without further ado, here is the hard data, organized by the age-group of the respondant:

Age group:18-24

1. Claim:12
2. Actual:4

Age group:25-40

1. Claim:9
2. Actual:6

Age group:41-65

1. Claim:5
2. Actual:5

Age group:65+

1. Claim:5
2. Actual:2

As you can see, these statistics are rather startling. The most honest age group seems to be 41-65 year olds, as the average amount of times they claim to have sex equals the average number of times they actually do have sex. Whereas with the younger crowd, they actually have less sex than their elders (on average; remember, a third of teenagers are still virgins by the time they are 18, and therefore they have NO sexual intercourse at all, dragging down the average; although, some of them have admitted that they claim to have sex, even though they actually don't ... which gives us pause, for a moment, to think upon what the media has done to today's youth culture, that they must pretend to have sex more than they actually do in order to be "cool".)

Another observation is that older people also lie; perhaps because many of them are impotent, or have lost their sex drive, but don't want to feel inferior to their silver-haired, denture-free acquaintances.

But any way you slice it, the average American tends to claim to have more sex than s/he actually does. Further studies are currently being conducted upon this subject matter, and in this same survey even more questions were asked, rather than just the two; but the results of those questions are still being gathered and/or analyzed, and will be releashed shortly, once the proper conclusions have been reached to reflect the true interpretation of the data.
