Observations of Luca (Clan Gangrel, Primogen):
Starting with a disturbing meeting with the prince and the rest of clan Gangrel and ending with an angry primogen. Well we had the meeting got that done, and next there was some other discussion nothing to big. Court was called then and the news of the bridge lights going off came in. I gathered people around and my clan and we went on our way. Seeing the bridge was more than well taken care of we split up to find the sabbat who got off the bridge and ran or something like that. I went with the Brujah Primogen Jacob, The Sheriff Earl, the Nos Primogen Nickoli, and my whip Cloud, if there were more which I know there was your names escape me at present. We came to a mall where people were screaming and running and some dead bodies were around. We saw a group of "Officers" in malfitting uniforms obviously not mortal law enforcement agents. I was lit on fire by a burning sabbat who hugged me. A few other were scared away by the dread gaze and some others were on fire to but I forget who they were. I battled with the sabbat until the fire became to much for me and I had to fall back a bit. I transformed and at this point a large gator showed up. A big gator. The sabbat were defeated with quite a mess left behind. I must say as well Jacob is an excellent fighter. I'm also very proud of my whip for doing so well. Others in the battle fought excellent. We should be proud of the fine members of the city who went and were able to fight and did so very well.
Later on we got back had the whole discussion you all know what it was about. Breaches and the fighting ect..ect..ect. I got news of a more detailed account of what went on with the other team and well I must say I was not quite as happy. However I cannot judge because I was not there myself. I called a hurried meeting so those in the immediate area showed, which was all that was necessary for the topic at hand. A discussion of how battles should be fought in the future. We came up with a plan that resembles the princes very much and I must say I am happy with the princes idea. There was a downer in the evening though was I was very disappointed when a member of my clan who has been honorable did not act that way. He shall pay though and then we can move on. I talked to a few other people, harpies, Mr. sharp, other members of the city. That is pretty much all.
Observations of Darien St. Cloud (Clan Gangrel, Whip):
I would like to start out by saying that it was an interesting night.
It started out with a meeting of Clan Gangrel with it's elder (and the esteemed Prince of the City)over an issue of great importance to our Clan. The cause of the problem is still a mystery to us, but one that I WILL uncover. And I WILL take care of the problem once I know who is responsible, I promise you all this!
We were then all called together to attend the Prince's Court, where matters of City importance were discussed. This is right about the time that the *&%$ hit the fan. The lights at the bridge went out mysteriously, and we all knew that nothing good could come of this situation. Most of the City's Kindred rushed to the bridge to stop the attack from Detroit. The problem was, too many Kindred who are better thinkers and sociallites tagged along who didn't belong in a fight like this. We almost sustained losses because there were just some Kindred there with little skill in battle, a problem that I hope will be eliminated if the situation should ever arise again.
The attack was well planned. It split in two upon crossing the bridge, and our forces also split to intercept the attack. I split with a smaller group that included the Gangrel, Nos and Brujah Primogen, as well as some other worthy fighters. We intercepted that branch of the attack and fought valiantly. In battle, I was lucky enough to destroy two enemy Kindred while not sustaining any damage to myself. I was also honored enough to help destroy the attackers who were facing the Primogen present in the battle. Unfortunately, there were some major breaches of the Masquerade in our specific battle. I for one apologize for this. In the heat of the moment, all involved were only thinking of the defense of the city, not upholding the Masquerade.
I heard about the other part of the battle, and heard it was on a much larger scale than our skermish. The problem of the enemy was soon snuffed out, but the danger remains of the breaches, as well as the fact that the enemy planned this well and recorded these breaches. Hopefully we will recover the evidence of this, destroy it AND BURY IT WITH THE ASHES OF ALL SABBAT SCUM WHEN WE STAKE EVERYONE OF THOSE BASTARDS AND LET THEM ROAST IN THE SUN!!! But I digress...
Afterwards, we returned to the Elysium and discussed the battle. We split off into our respective clans to talk further. Luca and myself had a meeting scheduled prior to this, and kept our engagement. AFter returning for the Clan meeting, we gathered everyone we could find and sat down and talked. We discussed future tactics and what abilities and goals that we could bring to the defense of our fair city. In our haste, we forgot to include Dr. Wu. He found us, walked in late, and more problems occured at his defiance and complete rudeness of our Primogen. On a quick side note, I want to say something to Dr. Wu (who I hope is reading this). If that EVER happens again, and I don't care what the reason is, I will PERSONALLY see to it that your throat is ripped out. I hope that we understand each other from this point on, and that this kind of thing will NEVER happen again, or a high price WILL be paid by you. Nothing personal.
There is still much to discuss. The gangrel have come up with some tactics for any future battles, one that we will polish up a bit and submit. The Prince has also come up with one, similar to ours. As long as order is established and attacks can be repelled, I am all for it. As far as any other problems, they will be snuffed out, I swear this. Thank you all for your time.
Observations of Dr. Quentin Wu (Clan Gangrel):
Yes... A fascinating night indeed...
The evening opened for me with a rematch chess game against Advisor Tran, with whom I did not get the chance to finish up with last session. Shortly thereafter the Prince summoned myself and the rest of the Cities Gangrel to a meeting where a distrubing rumor was brought to light, and formally stamped out.
Directly thereafter, the Prince held court. During court there was a disturbance at the bridge. Apparently all the lights went out. I immediately summoned my aide to bring the contents of my personal armory to the parking lot of the Elysium (out of sight of mortals) where I distributed to members of the city what weapons I had on hand. I left in my SUV with a small crew of others, Mr. Sharpe, , Mr. Meyer, Dr. Lazarus, and a few others, and headed for the bridge.
Upon arriving at the bridge, I immediately took note that Mr. Krenshki had the matters well in hand, fighting three sabbat at once while the SRT teams wreaked havoc with the rest of the creatures at the bridge. Mr. Krenshki stated that some had gotten away just as another wave of sabbat came over the bridge. The individuals in my car headed into the theater district to chase down the infiltrating sabbat. It seemed odd to me that they would have gotten so far as to pass through the college district... hmmmmm.
At any rate, myself, along with the esteemed Ms. Tyche, Mr. Sharpe, Mr. Meyer, and a few others whose names escape me at the moment, located a gallery where it was apparent that the sabbat were performing their version of performance art.
I obfuscated to watch the backs of my cohorts while Mr. Sharpe and Primogen Tyche led the charge and attempted to summon some of the local wildlife to our cause (that's the last time I ask pigeons for help). There were six sabbat who immediately attacked, plus two in the back who seemed to be the leaders. While the others with me were fighting, I attempted to attack the responded with an attempt to dominate me (strangely enough, which failed), followed by what I believe was a Dread Gaze, or at least it felt pretty dreadful.
I ran from the building to see Dr. Lazarus (swaying) and Mr. Meyer, who had stayed with the car, standing amidst a pile of bodies with another individual who I did not recognize. They were fighting a lone (the last I believe) sabbat raider. Shortly after I arrived outside, a number of others in our cities elite showed up and tended not only to him, but also to a number of other sabbat who came running from the inside of the building (I was to discover later that Primogen Gates and Elder Adonis had arrived to help out after I was forced to go).
The surviving sabbat were immediately staked and transferred to the grounds of Dr. Netchurch for interrogation. I assisted as best I could, reviving Dr. Lazarus after he succumbed to his wounds, and helping to transport the bodies of the fallen sabbat.
Upon arriving back at the Elysium, Mr. Krenshki set about berating the city for failure in keeping down the escapees from the bridge. I have no excuse like that again.
Afterward, he stated what he needed to assist in the cover of this episode. I immediately gave Mr. Tran a list of what I had available to aid with, and, further, stated that I would be happy to aid him with this task in any way that I can (reply if you need help, Tim).
Following this, I set about trying to keep tabs on the various situations with the Triads and the Mafia in the city, but found that communication with certain parties was not going to be allowed. I went for a walk through the halls of the Elysium and found the rest of my clan in heated discussion. Feeling somewhat slighted for not having been invited, I attempted to take my leave, but was detained by my Primogen, which incurred a few bad words between us. To wit...
FORMALLY AND PUBLICALLY DO I APOLOGIZE TO MY PRIMOGEN, LUCA, FOR ANY UNTOWARDS OR NEGATIVE COMMENTS MADE AT ELYSIUM THAT NIGHT.
Finally, I spoke with a few others in the city, collected most of the contents of my armory (what wasn't broken) and retired for the night.
I pray I haven't been too long-winded,
