Prowl was completely surprised at the Autobot task force that had gathered before him. There had been only the reports of the Stunticons Mad Max style activity as of late. He half expected some more Decepticons to show up first.
Prowl and his small group listened to Fortress and Star Saber relate their stories of Nebulos, the Hub spaceport, and Paradron.
There was even more surprise when the Nebulons disengaged from their Autobot partners from all sorts of different places. Some were powerconvertors, some heads, some weapons, and the strangest of all, some were brains. Headmasters were not completely unfamiliar since Prowl had seen the Earthling Zorin transform into the Stunticon Motormasters head, but how he became one was quite the mystery.
Many plans for the future were discussed. Some Autobots wanted to return to Cybertron since the group had at last reunited the Matrix with the Sword of Iacon. Some just wanted to leave the decimated Earth. Prowl brought up the fact that Earth was attacked because of them, and they could not just abandon the planet. They had a duty to protect it, in case any Decepticons decide to come after them. It was also beside those facts, that the Earth may have been decimated, but the war was essentially over here. That was exactly what many Autobots had been longing for, even if it wasn't exactly how they had planned. Everyone agreed to that, but Cybertron must be totally under the Decepticon banner after four million years. These two other groups left and never went back. No one even knew if Cybertron even existed anymore.
The resurrection of Star Saber also came up, could this be done for Optimus Prime? They were both reconstructed by Alpha Trion, after one of Megatrons early energy raids.
Some attempts were made to resurrect Optimus Prime, but they all failed until they constructed a completely new body, using the schematics of his old body and the parts of the Decepticon Octane. The major problem seemed to be the Matrix, it did not seem to interface anymore. Now it is locked in a separate case deep inside the mountain.
Optimus Prime was reborn.
All of the Autobots acknowleged Optimus Prime as their one true leader.
The Dinobots wondered if Grimlock could be reborn as well?
Grimlock was alive, but just barely. He suffering a horrible beating by Predaking. Then the only thing that stopped Predaking from winning, was that Grimlock detonated all of his weaponry into Razorclaw, while Predaking was charging his Electro-sword. This eradicated Predaking, all but his broken sword, which was thrust straight through Snarls torso. No one realized it at the time, but When Predakings sword was charging up, it was in fact assisting Snarls recovery, but resulted in Snarls demise.
With Brainstorm and others assistance, Grimlock was restored to normal.
Afterwards, Fortress and Star Sabre decided to move their troops to new bases. Star Sabres new Autobot city in Australia would be called Sidneya. Fortress then dismantled the Steelhaven, to construct a city in Asia Minor. He could bond with a portion of it and transform into a massive defender.
Prime decided to leave the Stunticons alone. After all, they were children of Earth too. Besides, what could five Decepticons do againt over a hundred Autobots?
Shortly there after, mysterious UFO sightings began. Many humans were fearful of another alien invasion. Prime reassured the new United Earth Government, that the Autobots would defend their new home.
Later, during a salvage mission to the old volcano, the mystery was solved. A group of unknown Decepticons were already there. The had recovered Megatrons remains. A very large one transformed into a car carrier. Megatron was loaded onto him. Five of their number combined into Bruticus? Strangest of all, the Decepticons leader looked like a sinister version of Optimus Primes new mode.
The Autobots were warned, that if they attacked, they would fail. The Decepticons were right. The Autobots present were mainly technicions or skilled at mining or recovery. Grimlock let them go, but as he watched, two transformed and combined into a stealth bomber and simply vanished. Grimlock was very confused by this. He sent Air Raid to report this to Prime immediately.
