Star Sabers condition was deteriorating rapidly. Yukio suggested a variation on the Headmaster process. What if he volunteered to become Star Sabers operator, a Brainmaster?
Since Star Sabers memories were still in his body, but his spark was gone, why not utilize his towering body and wisdom to aid the Autobot cause. If Star Saber felt that it was worthwhile to give his life, surely using his body was not defiling the dead. Fortress agreed.
Upon arriving at Paradron, Fortress met the acting Turbomaster leader Sandstorm, and broke the bad news. Sandstorm did not take it very well. After all that had happened to them, this was the final blow. He accepted the new Star Saber as their leader, and the new Brainmaster Motorvators.
Sandstorm told Fortress about the two Cybertronian messages that were recieved. It seemed that there was a matter of urgency to reach the obscure planet Earth before the Decepticons do.
The combined forces of Fortress' and Star Sabers battalions began to depart for Earth...
