I love Yami no Matsuei. It's pretty recently-made...2002 or 2003, I think. Yes, it's got definite yaoi overtones, but it's also got an awesome plotline that deals with the occult. Such as the afterlife, rune cards, pentagrams, spells and whatnot. Characters are well-done, nicely-drawn, angsty when they see fit, humorous when need be. XD It's just great!
