The retail version will launch a year after the Xbox's UK launch, on March 14th 2003, priced at around £39.99, for which you'l get the software, the Xbox voice communicator and reportedly two free games (one of which should be PSO Episode2) hopefully it wont be too long before they're confirmed.

people hoping to play xbox live before march can happily do so,the starter kit will be avialable from november 30th (open play test) there will more than likely be "glitches" up until march (retail release)!!the xbox live service will be free up until the official release in march! (thats 3 months free!!give or take a few days!)plus included in the £39.99 starter pack will be a 12 month subscribtion fee so thats pretty much 1year & 3months for fuck all after that u will have to pay the P2P subscribtion!!
