Rusty Barrels are industrial, JA!
|
|||||
Headed by Brauss Schnauser, this extremely German band has been turning many a head and simultaneously smacking it with cold sauerkraut. While similar in style to Rammstein, Laibach, and KMFDM, I.B.F. still can hold their own.
Brauss is the overly hairy vocalist and front man, who is joined by Ipsein Schickenbausel on guitars, Stephan Frauheisen controlling DAT and keyboards, and the drummer known only as ED who plays a unique, custom made set of manhole cover drums. Combining testosterone laden chant and angry, grindy noises, they perpetuate the wonderful tradition of disturbing German Industrial bands. They currently have two releases available:
Liederhosen Nein and Do Yu Deutsche?
Singer Hemlocke from Knights of Black Fungus has recently assisted Brauss and his manly cohorts in translating the lyrics for two songs on the second album into english, as well as remixing and remastering the rest of the album and thusly producing a much fresher version of Do Yu Deutsche? You can read the translations of the two songs Brausnensnaufel and Nein, below.
I Bein Fucht is currently in the studio working hard on a new album -- Waffle Asphyxia, with the help of Hemlocke and Spiine--keyboardist from Sheep for Ransom. The projected release date will be sometime in late August.
