Principles for Practice:
- I will always try to get my students to pursue
learning on their own. I will
try to incorporate students’ ideas and comments in the
classroom. I want to encourage
my students to question the learning process.
- I will have goals for my classroom and work as hard
as possible to achieve them.
I will have students assess their own goals and I will help them
achieve them. I will always
have a set syllabus, even if I stray from it.
- I will try to bring everyone into classroom discussions
and activities. I will work
to get the shy and troubled kids involved as much as possible. I will try to be cognizant of
language barriers to my students.
- I will teach my students at a level congruent with
their comprehension, while still presenting a challenging curriculum. I will attempt to use their
developmental status to gauge how and what I instruct them so that
learning will be most beneficial to all.
- I will be open to new and innovative ideas. I will allow my students to
explore their creative talents and grow as students and people.
- I will foster the best learning environment for my
students that I possibly can.
I will set and keep a set of rules for classroom management.
