Prologue
Jeannie,
Well, here are three more letters. Congrats girl. Now do you believe me when I said that with the right editing, this story would be incredible? I can’t believe all the responses I’m getting. Will you reconsider letting me put your email address on the story so at least you can get these letters yourself (and so I don’t have to forward them anymore :) )? Rest assured, these people are not the only ones dying for more story. Can’t wait to hear from you!
~Jill~
He sat and read the letters over and over again in disbelief. They were nothing short of incredible in their compliments and he nearly cried at their praise. His writing inspired this? His life inspired this? What would they think if they knew it was all true? What would they do if they knew that every word had actually been spoken, every action actually performed, every feeling actually felt? And especially Jill. How would she react to the fact that not only was “Jeannie Thomas” in fact a guy, but a guy writing true stories about his own life? Sighing, he pulled his keyboard out from under the desk and began banging out his reply.
