I never understood why more people weren't into Veruca, aside from the obvious, when her possibilities as a character for a writer of fan fiction were so varied and intriguing.
Among those possibilities is Rabbit's Memory of Our Ancestors, with Veruca and her pack as vampire hunters in what may or may not be a Wishverse LA, where she finds herself drawn against her better judgement to a lost, vulnerable prostitute....
Then there's Two's Company by Rowan, a short tale of Oz, Veruca and destiny set in the Wishverse.
Instrumental by Nepthys is actually Oz/Devon, but it's also Wishverse and Veruca is mentioned and I liked it, so, sue me.
Rumble Thy Bellyful by Hth -- I'm just going to steal the author's summary for this story because I'm lazy and I think "an interesting riff on the links between women and wolves, sex and kinship, freedom and territory" is better than whatever I could come up with... and oh yeah, Faith is in it too.
Two Nights to the Full Moon by Mary Borsellino is technically a crossover, but the crossover aspect isn't intrusive (and if you have a problem with angsty Lupin smut, you may be reading the wrong recs page here).
Finally, we waited two years for the ultimate Veruca story, but Sandy's Versipellis does not disappoint.
