The Human Way by Thamiris -- I discovered Thamiris after Sandy recommended her long story, The Tribe of Dreams; after a night spent at her site, Odysseys and Ecstasy, this was my favorite of her shorter pieces, probably because it's funny and to quote the author's original description, there's "whipping, but really it's a romantic story". Hercules catches his half-brothers together and is somewhat dismayed by his reaction:

The whole kinky thing scrambled around in Hercules' head looking for a safe place to lie down, chased by the repulsive idea of Ares as a sex object. Not that he didn't look good, but the guy was evil incarnate, after all. Iphicles was blinded by the muscles and the face that, if you squinted in shadowy light, looked like his. Just a demented, narcissistic encounter between two people who lived to piss him off.

As day follows by torch -- So then I decided I really liked the Hercules/Iphicles pairing....

Regency Fuck by Jen -- Ares/Iphicles works too. This is written like a Regency romance novel and, come on, don't you want to read it just for the title? I did, and was not disappointed.
