Here are 3 files needed for installation of a Chinese Decoder called "NJStar Communicator". Try to double click the SETUP.EXE file and choose "Open it" to install the decoder. If it does not work, then please create a temp folder (C:\temp or C:\temp\NJStar) on the PC and copy those files into the temp folder. You can follow the steps below or feel free to give me a call at 1-800-458-2740 ext: 2828.
Save File to temp folder software):
1) Right click the attached files (one at the time);
2) Choose "Save As...";
3) Select the "C:\temp or C:\temp\NJStar" folder that you just created;
4) Click the "Save" button.
PS: You can delete this folder or files after initial use of the software!
Installation of Chinese Decoder (NJStar Communicator):
1) Open the
Window Explore2) Go to the folder where you saved the 3 files;
3) Double click the file "Setup.exe";
4) Follow the installation process (Only need to install all Chinese decoder, deselect or unclick other language such as Korean, Japanese...etc);
5) You might or might not need to restart the computer.
How to use the NJStar Communicator:
1) Open your Chinese email (Internet Explore) as you always do (you will see unreadable characters);
2) Double click NJStar icon on your desktop or Click Start->Program->NJStar Communicator->NJStar Communicator;
3) Click "I Agree" button every time you use it, no need to register at this time;
4) Put your mouse cursor on the new NJStar Menu Bar, click the flag with drop down list, then choose "Chinese Auto Simplified";
5) Click "I Agree" again and Scroll the Chinese email up & down to see if the Chinese email start to decode;
6) Repeat the process 4 and 5 (Select other Chinese Simplified) until it decodes the Chinese email.
