20th April

Hmm, I think I've let the front page of my website go a bit, seven months is a bit of a gap. Still, going to
australia's a fairly good excuse. Anyway, now I'm back and with plenty of time on my hands, so I've
finally updated my links pages again...som nay bands come and go these days!

15th October

Man I was so pissed off last saturday at the Delgados gig: they were handing out flyers for thier gig at
the Usher Hall in feb, like, way to rub it in guys! But then I found out about their Australian tour in
february, and I wasn't quite so annoyed. If that isn't a sign from above, I don't know what is...

30th August

There's just no way you're gonna save money to go to oz when there's late-licensing aorund, is there? Big
night with OBC on friday, came perilously close to being evicted from the bank for being too drunk, then
equally close to scoring at EVOL. Ah well...Seafield tv should hopefully be up and running again very
soon, so watch this space!

13th July

Man, I am soo over the festival thing. What a pain in the ass at T this year, most of the acts I wanted to
see where all on at the same time on different stages! It's always the big danger, but this is the first time
it's ever happened to me, yeesh..

24th April

Yup, still here, I know it's been a while, but hey, who cares anyway! So what's with all the pesky adverts
back on my site, that's not what I pay four quid a month to Angelfire for, I'll be getting that sorted
out swift. So anyways, I finally got round to going to a few gigs, so the gigs page has been updated. I will
also be adding a travel diary soon for mt trip down under, which will save me the bother of emailing
everyone while I'm away, you can just check the website instead...

12th January

Yeesh, has it really been a year since I updated the site, arf! Where does the time in the pub all go
to? Had to tidy things up a bit, chop a few things that I don't have the time to maintain, ho-hum. Less
is more, that's what I reckon. G'day Katie!

22nd December

Full-on irony attack at Tut's on sat night when they did that new song: sounded even better with the full
band, presume it's on the new album. I'll be playing that one a few times...

9th December

Finally got my Broadcast review done, apologies to the two people I know were waiting for it. Christ I'm
tired, never drink Babycham on your day off...

1st December

How could we forget? La Belle Angele, sadly missed...

14th November

Well, as Meatloaf would say, two out of three ain't bad: quite happy to go see Gordon play free instore
gigs, but couldn't be bothered tearing myself away from the fireplace to pay to see him at Cabaret
Voltaire. Plus I had a feeling someone would be there, so I just stayed home and listened to the album...

11th November

I should really be doing something more productive than using the office computer to update my
website. But Susan T will moan if it's even one day out of date...

26th October

What a weekend, finally seen the back of the M8 after another weegie triple-header. All good gigs, but you
got to say Goldfrapp was the highlight. Now I should maybe start actually packing my things and moving house...

14th October

Finally managed to get my Ballboy reviews done: apologies for the delay, been sooooo drunk recently, and
now I have the dubious pleasure of packing up my cd collection once again. At least I'm not moving far...

2nd October

Yay, Sophie's back! Single and album all coming out very soon, and a gig to look forward to next march
as well. Isn't it nice to have your first gig of a new year lined up lng before the old one's finished?

22nd September

Yippee!! My new Superjesus cd finally arrived today, rock out baby, yeah...And if you check the links
above, you'll notice you can now see the future...

18th September

heh-heh, welcome to sleepless in seafield DOT-FUCKING-COM! No more pesky ads, bliss!!! Lots of reviews added
today, if I never see the M8 again it'll be too soon...

12th September

Oh wow! Three gigs in three nights to look forward to, even if they are all in Glasgow. Electric Soft Parade
should be okay, Motormark should be really good, and Machine Gun Fellatio...cannae' fuckin wait!!!!

1st September

The festival is over: the last unicycling lesbian has gone home and the pubs are back to normal hours :(
And once again it rained during the fireworks. Is it me or does that happen every year...

26th August

Thanks to Terpsi for the tip-off about the Speedway instore gig: only fair after the last instore I went to, miaow!

16th August

Is there any point in going to another gig ever again after thursday night? You were either there or you
weren't...

6th August

Anything to get into a gig, eh? I knew this website had it's uses...

21st July

That's the beauty of the internet isn't it? No matter how obscure yer website is, there's still someone
somewhere reading it: hello Work-Shy! The links been added, if you could do the smae for seafield...

Anyway, the countdown has begun: late licensing begins on sunday 3rd august :) And after that, there should
hopefully be some gigs to go to as well...

13th July

Ho-hum, just back from T. Not the best ever, but saw a few decent things over the weekend. Sod my luck
though, eh? Of all the hospitality areas in all the festivals in the world, you had to wander into
mine. That said, I was gonna go catch the end of Mull tonight, but the tent was too full, so I gave it a
miss. Which was probably for the best.

11th July

Okay, I said I wouldn't pay seventy bucks to see the shit bands that were playing. But if someone gives
you a free VIP pass for the weekend, well, that's different, isn't it? I'm just going for the booze
mind. Hopefully there won't be any ugly scenes while we're there. Speaking of which, there have been a
few more minor changes to the site: if this doesn't make sense, don't worry, you'll all find out soon
enough. C'est la Guerre.

2nd July

Hot news from the movie world: A Shot At Glory is finally going to be released on DVD. All ye scottish
footie fans, desperate to see John Martin's big screen debut, get down to ye olde video shoppe swift, before
they change their minds again

By the way, what's happened to all the Superjesus cd's that everyone keeps promising me?

18th June

It's very, very hot these days, isn't it? Long summer nights are all very well, but when the festivals
are all so shit, seems kind of a waste, doesn't it? No T in the Park this year, shit line-up. Fringe doesn't
look particularly scintillating either: can we hang on until the Policechief and Stellastar* gigs in
august...by the way, to all my aussie friends who regularly check the site, if anyone feels like sending
me a copy of the new Superjesus cd, feel free, And if you can fit Tracy Macleod in the parcel, even better...

4th June

Okay, it's been a wee while since I updated the site, but, to be honest, not much has been happening. Mayhem
trickled to a disappointing end, and now there aren't really any more gigs up and coming. Ho-hum. Maybe it's
time I finally finished off Pie-Spy...

20th May

Got our first look at the Carling Academy at the weekend, very nice it is too, but oh dear, the
lager, that has got to be sorted out! Now we know what happened to poor Pete, hope he's recovered...

12th may

Yeesh, what a weekend! Mayhem got back on track after Electric Six. I suppose when you've got so many
gigs in such a short space of time, one of them's bound to be a duffer...

7th May

What a letdown Electric Six was, one-hit wonders I reckon. A slight on Mayhem. Still, the hit-counter's
gone through the 2000 barrier :)

2nd May

The world's a sadder place today, Scotland has lost one of it's finest ever bands. We loved Bis

1st May

Mayhem finally got under way last night, if that was anything to go by, then it's going to be a hell of
a month for all concerned. How often do Policechief get upstaged by someone. Read the reviews for more
details...

28th April

I got bored with the format, so I'm tinkering a little. Mayhem is alomost upon us, it's gonna be
the most rocking month of anyone's life ever. I hope. Today I have added the review of Gordon McIntyre's
acoustic set at Avalanche on sat and changed some of the pictures about...
