Things just aren't going to well for the dawghouse. Apparently tentro.net didn't give ghettostomp.net enough bandwidth so between our two sites we exceeded the limit. Tentro.net then said they host me seperate with my own bandwidth but none of the images would load on the site. So then I got picked up by fex-net.com except now their server is shut down. So now I'm on Angelfire. I won't complain too much since after all that's where the dawghouse started. And most of the new DHTML features of the new layout seem to be working just fine. In fact I got everything but the guestbook to work (no cgi). So after signing up for one of those free gustbooks listed on my resources page everything is up and running. Of course since mp3s aren't allowed on Angelfire I had to remove the mp3 section in the spotlight. I also found out that currently my site is only 11mb. Till next time...

Well here's the layout. I like it. Might be a little too slow for dial-up people but that's why I added the preloader for you. Now I don't want to hear any complaining since all links are now on the main page. If you don't see your link it means either you don't have my link on your site or I could not contact you to inform you of the site's change of address. I'm not sure how long scribs.net will leave up my redirect. There's also a new quick update window on the top right. I took the tagboard off the main page because some people are acting too childish. But the guestbook is open so you can leave your comments there until I decide to reinstate the tagboard. If there are any problems you are experiencing then let me know. I'm working on a new header image so it won't look too plain and of course I'll eventually change the intro page as well. Till next time...

In Manassas, Virginia, Drowning Pool singer Dave Williams was found dead on the band's tour bus this afternoon (8/14/02). Best known for their song "Bodies" ("Let the bodies hit the floor") the quartet from Dallas, Texas has been performing as one of the main stage attractions on Ozzfest. The cause of death has yet to be determined. As a tribute I have changed the spotlight song in memory of yet another fallen musician.

Just so there's no confusion, I'm working on a different layout that hopefully should be finished by tomorrow. So if you don't see your link don't spaz out because I'm moving things around and don't feel like changing 2 layouts. So just chill out because everything will be back to normal hopefully by tomorrow and you'll be able to check out the dawghouse's last layout for a while during the time that I'm moving (not hosts, houses). Till next time...

Everytime I turn on the news now I see another child was kidnapped. Is this a new trend for kidnappers or is it a new trend for the news to report them. I think it's the news. Kids are kidnapped everyday but because we aren't bombing anyone or because nobody is flying planes into our buildings they have to come up with a new news trend. I just don't get it. Anyways in case you haven't noticed I added that support bar on the bottom of the posts. Just a little something different for the site. I also updated the spotlight section with a new site and song. It's getting harder to find good sites to add. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but the more sites I visit, the more they all look the same. Till next time...

Some people are really starting to piss me off. I've had enough of all the crap and I'm just gonna have to start being more strict with some of you. So why am I angry. For a couple of reasons. First off this guy tags the board asking to trade links. So I go to check out his site and the guy has my resources page and about page copied. I hate these people! If you're gonna steal my stuff, fine. But don't come to me asking to trade links when you know you stole me pages. Second, I'm tired of people complaining where their links are located. See those links on the main page? Most are there for a reason, because those are the sites that bring me the most hits. A few of them are there because I randomly put a few extra when I make a new link trade to give them some exposure. So from here on out when you come to me saying something like "y am not on first page goddamnit", you get your link removed from the whole site. Now as for everyone else I added a new software review for you on the software page. It's for a program called CHMOD 2.0 that helps with setting all those annoying CHMOD commands. I find it extremely useful since now the site is hosted on a UNIX server instead of the Windows NT server I used to be on. Till next time...

Oh man I am burning up today. I know it's been hotter and more humid then this several times so far this summer but for some reason I feel it more today. I think it was because of last week when it was in the 70s. I'm gonna vacuum the pool and jump in it in a few minutes. I hope everyone is finding the new site alright. The thought of changing to a new address scared me because I was sure I'd lose most of my hits but so far I don't see much of a drop so that's good. I added 2 new winamp skins and 2 new buddy icons. I need to fix up the font page so at least the colors match. But that's not too important right now since they're still there. I guess I need to start contacting all my link trades so they can change the address. The only problem is most of them haven't even updated their sites for the longest time. Till next time...

Yeah I know it looks a little messy here but that should only be temporary. I just erases all files from scribs.net's server except the index page that may have brought you to the new site. I'm slowly getting things done over here and hope to have everything finished soon. Everything on the site should work fine but if you have any problems you can email me and tell me about it. I don't like this layout much but had it laying around just in case of an emergency so don't get too aquainted with it. Just please remember to start using the url http://www.tdh2.net so you can always find the dawghouse. Everything should be back to normal within in a few days and then I can start back with the daily updates. Till next time...
