Thanks to construction that I presume is for the metro, traffic is at a stand still. Luckily the car drivers seem to respect the tram right of way. 813 is en route to Centraal Station on Kalverstraat at Singel.

Motorcycle and bicycle wait for 2109 to snake through Dam square. The Combinos have a very clean appearance, but it would not hurt to have legible fleet numbers.

It's truly amazing to see the gauntlet tracks at work. No signals, no barriers to keep pedestrians at bay and no problems - other than the bottlenecking of trams. Here the crowd on Leidsestraat parts for 914 outbound at Prisengracht.

Museumplein is a hive of tram activity. Two combinos are lined up in front of the concert hall in this view.

A little bit of old Holland. A tram waits at Rembrandtplein for a Heineken beer wagon to clear. Also of note, the cafes are decked out in Orange for the Euro 2004 match against Portugal.
