What can be said about William Blake? From my understanding so far, an excerpt from the movie Apocalypse Now best describes him. It goes,

"I mean what are they going say when he dies, huh? cause he dies, when it dies - it dies, when he dies I mean what are they going say? Are they going to say he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? Did he have plans man? Did he have wisdom? Bulls$#t Man!"

Blake could have been a genius. He could have been a madman. All of this can be true-to point on the poet. The biography of William Blake are the only true facts that I can relate at this time. His bio has been written many times. Most of them tell the same story. You can**click here** to view some of Blake's biographies by various sources. Some of his works can be seen **HERE**. My opinions and views are also located ** on this page**. You may look if you are intrested. Yet more info on William Blake can be seen on University of San Diego Proffessor, Dr. Barton Thurber's Blake page.

Review of Jason's Blake Page

I feel that his impression of Blake's Little Black Boy is on-point, but is too much like we discussed in class. If you are going to look at a poem, you should be able to look at it in terms of how you see it, not how a group comes to a consensus on it. I came to view the poem not as a racist one, but possibly a bias one. I feel that in order for something to be racist, it must have some sort of power. Who has the power in the Little Black Boy? The English boy? The Black Boy? His mother? Or does Blake have all the power? After all, he is the author of thhis piece. Could the characters posess more power than Blake? This could be said about almost every piece of writing. I don't feel that it is acknowledged.

Review of Amanda's Blake Page

A page that is need of a little work is Amanda Ballis's. It really doesn't have that much info at the moment, but I know in time it will be running fine. One thing I can't quite figure out is why the image won't load? It just may be my browser. Hang in There!

Review of Nicole's Blake Page

On the other hand, Nicole Tempel's Blake Page is great! I really liked the way that she used the image on side of the information. Also, she gave me mad props and you know I got to give her some CyberLove. Keep it up everyone!

Review of Brent Scotten's Page

**

Brent's page is lacking a bit. Casa de William Blake has alot of graphical advances, but is deficient in content. brent's Page looks the best, but I feel that more time could have been spent on the content. In actuality, Brent knows more about web design than I will ever. But still, his site is behind. Not that Brent would ever have something intelligent to put on it,(kidding) but you can keep it up to date.
