Occupational Search and Development

This course helps individuals understand themselves and the relationships between self-understanding and potential careers, determine personal values and the importance of values in career planning, relate goals to work values, identify personal and occupational barriers and how to deal with them, become knowledgeable about sources of information and develop skill in finding new sources in planning own careers, understand the importance of effective job performance, preparation of resume and understanding interviewing strategies, and development of long-range goals and viable images of the future and a personal strategy for the realization of these images.
