Fundamentals of AS/400 RPG

This course introduces the RPG/400 programming language using the IBM AS/400 computer. Emphasis is placed upon the understanding and coding of specification forms and the concepts involve in a structured format for typical business applications. Topics include language syntax, the RPG Cycle, input/output operations, arithmetic operations, control break processing, exception output and sequential file processing. Continued implementation of current programming practices, i.e., structured coding, is emphasized.
