Garth Brooks: Reunited With his Son he gave up for adoption 15 years ago.
15 years ago Garth Brooks gave up his illegitimate child, young AJ Brooks, for adoption. After all this time Garth said, "I never meant to hurt him...I was just so afraid of my career." Garth was looking on the web when he came across a site called "Imajur" that his son made. "I was so shocked..." said Garth as he saw his son's webpage. He quickly got his team working to find out where AJ lived and to get a hold of him. Garth immediately flew to his sons foster house and said his first words to his son in 15 years. AJ's reaction as Garth put it, "When he saw me he looked as if he had just had his first kiss from a girl."
