       XANDER slashes at TWO SHOCKTROOPERS.

       NAYU spins his blade down at a TROOPER.

       MEDIUM SHOT - CIRCE-KAI HAYASE

       CIRCE-KAI strikes a frantic downward diagonal blow.

       ATKINSON fakes an advance, attacking seconds later.

       MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI

       OBI-WAN bats his blade in a short hard strike.

       XANDER cuts his blade into TWO SHOCKTROOPERS.

       MEDIUM SHOT - NAYU "YOW" OFORI

       NAYU quickly takes out FOUR TROOPERS with a fury of slashes.

       MEDIUM SHOT - CIRCE-KAI HAYASE

       CIRCE-KAI slams her shoulder into a TROOPER.  She leans back 
       and swings her sabre, in a long vertical strike, into him.

       MEDIUM SHOT - ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON swipes her blade horizontally three times.

       MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI

       OBI-WAN stabs into a SHOCKTROOPER.

       CLOSE UP - XANDER LORDS

       XANDER snarls.

       CLOSE UP - NAYU "YOW" OFORI

       NAYU snarls.

       CLOSE UP - CIRCE-KAI HAYASE

       CIRCE-KAI snarls.

       Moments pass.  He looks around.

       The FIVE JEDI look around, all the SHOCKTROOPERS slain.

       They deactivate their lightsabres.

       OBI-WAN runs a hand through his short hair.

       He breathes through his slack jaw, sweat on his brow.

       ATKINSON turns to OBI-WAN and smiles.

       OBI-WAN nods.

       HAYASE

       The THREE JEDI breathe heavily.

       They begin to slowly move about.

       CLOSE UP - CIRCE-KAI HAYASE

       CIRCE-KAI looks up.  Her eyes move slowly back and forth.  
       She stays this way, feeling something.

       CLOSE UP - NAYU "YOW" OFORI

       NAYU looks over to CIRCE-KAI.  He then glances up, feeling 
       the same thing.

       CLOSE UP - XANDER LORDS

       XANDER, too, looks to the air, sensing something.

       CLOSE UP - OBI-WAN KENOBI AND ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON looks to the THREE JEDI and then up, searching for 
       the sense.

       OBI-WAN just looks at ATKINSON, trying to mimic the motions.

       ATKINSON then snaps her head toward OBI-WAN.

       CLOSE UP - ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON shouts.

                 We have to leave now!

       ANAKIN, silhouetted against the bright exterior of Kits, 
       narrows his dark empty eyes.

       OBI-WAN and ATKINSON turn into a small street.

       EXT. KITS - SMALL STREET - WIDE SHOT - ATKINSON'S SHIP

       Atkinson's ship sits in a small side street.  It is a small 
       vessel, looking like it has been pieced together over time 
       from various craft.

       A bulky armored cockpit sits in front of the craft, tethered 
       to it by various beams and wires.  Small weapon pylons are 
       fixed to the cockpit's sides.

       The main body of the ship in nothing but exposed wiring and 
       kitbashed parts.  Wide forward-swept wings extend out from 
       the fuselage.  Two small engines sit in the rear of the 
       vessel, raised above the main body.

       ATKINSON and OBI-WAN run toward the ship.

       CLOSE UP - ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON shouts as she runs.

                 Ship!

                 Open hatch!
                     (beat)
                 Take off!

       WIDE SHOT - ATKINSON'S SHIP

       The cockpit's boarding ramp lowers with a hiss as its 
       repulsorlift engines buzz.

       ATKINSON and OBI-WAN run at the ship.

       MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI AND ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON races up the ramp as the ship rises off the ground.

       OBI-WAN jumps onboard.

       INT. ATKINSON'S SHIP - MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI

       OBI-WAN steadies himself inside the small ship.

       MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI AND ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON pushes a large button closing the boarding ramp.

       MEDIUM SHOT - CANOPY

       We see the cockpit's canopy.

       ATKINSON rushes into the pilot's seat.  OBI-WAN jumps into 
       the seat next to hers.

       ATKINSON takes the controls in her hands, and we see the 
       ground rapidly drop away.

       EXT. KITS - ATKINSON'S SHIP - MEDIUM SHOT

       Atkinson's ship maneuvers about, speeding over the terrain.

       The CAMERA follows as it zips along.

       A red speeder shoots by, under it.

       Atkinson's ship rises as it zips around the buildings, 
       growing higher and higher the further they go.

       A green rocketship blasts off near the ship.

       Atkinson's ship zips by a large golden sign and enters the 
       Baudway.  The buildings, constantly gaining in height and 
       size, are now towering spires.

       Atkinson's ship zips under a passing air bus.

       It makes a hard left turn and flares its engines, propelling 
       it into orbit.

       INT. ATKINSON'S SHIP - MEDIUM SHOT - OBI-WAN KENOBI AND 
       ATKINSON RAIN

       We see through the canopy as we enter Coruscant orbit.

       There is silence for a moment.

       OBI-WAN then reaches out and points to a tiny speck floating 
       off in the distance.

       He speaks in a confident tone.

                           OBI-WAN
                 There.

       CLOSE UP - OBI-WAN KENOBI

                           OBI-WAN
                 Take us there.

       CLOSE UP - ATKINSON RAIN

       ATKINSON looks at OBI-WAN, unsure.

       She speaks skeptically.

                           ATKINSON RAIN
                 It's a military installation.

       CLOSE UP - OBI-WAN KENOBI

       OBI-WAN assures her.

                           OBI-WAN
                 I'm a general.

       EXT. SPACE - ATKINSON'S SHIP

       We follow Atkinson's ship on its slow approach to the orbital 
       military station.  It is a jagged grey construct.  Antenna 
       clusters sprout from every sharp edge.  There is no symmetry 
       or overall design.

       As the small ship burns closer to the station, we hear 
       something.  It is faint, very faint.

                     (vo)
                 We are with you.

       EXT. G PRIME - WIDE SHOT - GARDEN

       Three small fighters swoop by, overhead.

       INT. GARDEN - PALPATINE'S OFFICE - WIDE SHOT

       We see the Grand Chancellor's office.

       It is a long wide room.  Its walls are silver.  Blue tubes 
       reach up to the high ceiling.  They are full of fast-moving 
       turbulent water, churning over the office.  They bath the 
       chamber in a fluid light.

       PALPATINE sits behind his large silver desk, busy 
       orchestrating military maneuvers.

       MEDIUM SHOT - PALPATINE

       PALPATINE scribbles on a large blue image with a slim silver 
       instrument.

       CLOSE UP - PALPATINE

       PALPATINE looks up, sensing something.

       He stares forward and then glances off to the side.

       MEDIUM SHOT - ANAKIN SKYWALKER

       ANAKIN stands there, leaning against a wall.  A condescending 
       look is about him.

       MEDIUM SHOT - PALPATINE

       PALPATINE watches ANAKIN.

       CLOSE UP - ANAKIN SKYWALKER

       ANAKIN blinks.

       MEDIUM SHOT - ANAKIN SKYWALKER

       ANAKIN leans off the wall.  He takes a few steps forward.

       PALPATINE watches ANAKIN.

       PALPATINE sets his pen down.

       He brushes his hair back and raises an eyebrow.

       Palpatine's voice is an icy one.

       PALPATINE watches ANAKIN.

       He then stares into ANAKIN.

       He raises his left hand out, fingers outstretched.

       ANAKIN tries to hide the fact that he can no longer breathe.

       PALPATINE speaks.  He is not asking ANAKIN a question.

       Anakin's neck tightens even further.

       He lets out a concealed gasp.

       ANAKIN raises his right hand, fingers outstretched.

       PALPATINE snaps his hand back and grins an evil grin.

       ANAKIN waits a moment before speaking.  His single word is 
       soft, a whisper.

       Palpatine's words take on a nurturing tone.

       ANAKIN watches, his face cold.
