The Invisbles (Vol. 3) #11 (of 12)
By Grant Morrison, Philip Bond & Warren Pleece
In this issue, our two pals from Division X search for their
missing Inspector, a search that leads them to sacrificial pagan
grounds and a structure that looks suspiciously like that stupid, stupid
Burning Man structure in the US southwest. You know the one I'm
talking about. The same two Division X agents also learn that Sir
Miles Delacourt is somehow connected to The Invisibles.
Back in the academy in North Africa, Jack Frost gets beligerent in
front of one of his instructors and finds himself piloting a jet-plane
fifteen-thousand feet above the Earth, and not a clue as to how to fly
the damned thing.
And in the end, by the afore-mentioned Burning Man-type structure, King Mob makes his trimumphant return, about to recruit some people for "gathering of the knights of the round table", in his own words.
A bit of a slow-down after the furious pace of the last issue, but it's necessary, 'cause this seems to be setting up something BIG for issue number ten. And I'll be there.
