GHOST IN THE SHELL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (Import)

This was the first import soundtrack I ever purchased, and it is still one of the best. It captures all the rich acoustics from the film.

The main theme is unforgettable... a slow traditional Japanese drum played against a choir of children's voices.

It really is a powerful piece, and most of the other tracks feature variations of the main theme.

It also features a bonus track containing high energy Japanese pop as well as a holographic trading card having nothing to do with GHOST IN THE SHELL.

And, as with all Japanese CDs, its liner notes can't be topped.
