Babylon 5 Security Manual --- Michael Garibaldi (as compiled by Jim Mortimore with Allan Adams & Roger Clark)
I'm happy with this (hell, I'll buy anything written by a fictional author who happens to be the alcoholic Head Of Security of the best damn live-action television show ever).
Nice diagrams. Nice text and a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff (Disney Planet, which I thought was a joke, was actually referred to in
an episode, and it's exactly what it sounds like). Some stuff, like the White Star diagrams and arrest logs, aren't complete, and the book seems to totally overlook fairly major stuff, like, uhm, all of Season 5 (some might argue this is a good thing...). They also don't go into detail about how Babylon 5 became self-sufficient after they seceded from Earth-Gov. Yes, I know they got their revenues from docking fees,
etc..., but I would be interested in knowing how exactly the funds get
distributed.
Peter was upset with a lot in this book because it seemed non-canon, but $18 wasn't too much to pay for PPG and Thunderbolt diagrams w/ nice CGI stills.
