Think about Babylon 5. Think about how the concept must have initially
read:
"A story about a space station and the problems the station and
it's crew encounter. Brought to you by a former writer for 'The Real
Ghostbusters' and 'She Ra: Princess Of Power', featuring music by a guy
who used to be in Tangerine Dream and starring a cast of people who
would be lucky to be cast in in Roger Corman 'films'."
Actually, according to Byron Coley, the first Tangerine Dream
record is pretty damn mindblowing. But I digress. Now think about how
Crusade initially sounds:
"A story about a deadly space-virus and the problems the new
space-ship Excalibur and it's crew encounter trying to find a cure.
Brought to you by a former writer of 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Babylon
5', featuring music by some guy with an Asian-sounding name and starring
a cast of people who would be lucky to be cast in Roger Corman 'films'."
