Milhouse
Milhouse was first revealed at the 2000 Toyfare, but has just recently started to appear in stores in Feb. 2001. He is the first character who wears glasses that doesn't feature removable glasses.
His accessories are an icecream cone, a walkee-talkee and a the same Squishee that comes with the Kwik-E-Mart playset.
Review
This is my favourite figure so far. Milhouse is a dead on likeness of his TV counterpart. His facial expression is a bit odd. It looks as if he is trying to slurp up a Squishee through a straw, so it's fitting that he comes with a Squishee. The downside is that it's the same Squishee that comes with the Kwik-E-Mart and it's too large for Milhouse to hold.
Milhouse has a problem with holding any of his items actually. His walkee-talkee features a hand-strap, but it still doesn't fit, and the icecream cone only fits in his right hand, but on an awkward angle.
Milhouse is painted and sculpted perfectly. I honestly couldn't have asked for them to do a better job.
One complaint though is that his glasses are stuck on. It would've been cute if they were removable and we could see his tiny, squinting eyes. They must've had that planned originally, as his squinting eyes are visably sculpted under the glasses, but not painted. I wonder why they changed their mind about his eyes.
Despite the negatives about this figure, I still have to give it an 8.5 out of 10. It's a must have for any true fan.
