we're extremely pleased to announce that the australian band Powderfinger will be appearing at all of Coldplay's forthcoming North American dates, save Vancouver where Lily Frost will take their place.

since Limp Bizkit's early departure from the Big Day Out, Powderfinger have been headlining the australian festival. it was on this tour that the two bands hooked up and Coldplay extended the invitation to come over to the states with them for the run of sold-out dates. the band are also sharing the stage with friends in Miami for the Gavin Radio Conference. The awesome Doves will be performing with them at the Hard Rock Cafe on feb 23.
