"We're more popular than Jesus now!"

: Due to singer Chris Martin's newfound throat problems, neu-Brit-Travis-rockers Coldplay were forced to cancel their New York and Boston appearances over the past weekend. While there are no current plans to reschedule the Boston show, the New York appearance will most likely be reset for around the time of the band's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" in April.

The band also made their US television live debut on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" last week, with Martin's voice breaking numerous times during their hit ABC jingle, "Yellow." No word on whether Conan will give the band another chance not to totally bite it on national television. What is it they say about first impressions? And about blowing your one real shot?
