Coldplay remains one of the hottest up-and-comers in the rock world at the moment, stemming mostly from the success of its current single, "Yellow." The song is currently charting on three Billboard charts and was recently featured as part of ABC television's on-air promotional campaign.

Singer-guitarist Chris Martin tells LAUNCH that he's quite a fan of band's own most famous song. "Well the song 'Yellow' to me is just, first and foremost it's a great tune. That's what I love about it most. I love the whole music thing. And the lyrics are just kind of about devotion to somebody, you know? It doesn't have to be your girlfriend, it could be anybody."

Coldplay continues its debut North American tour in support of its debut album, Parachutes. The group performs tonight (February 19) in Chicago.

Meanwhile, look for the group to appear on Saturday Night Live on April 7.
